Wahoo! Netflix original series House of Cards is returning for a fourth outing on March 4 next year.

A frothy new ad – titled Underwood For President – has been released online and portrays an America where ‘more people will go to work, return home to their families and sleep more soundly than ever before’.

Of course.

Crooked lawmaker-turned-President Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, ends the ad by warning everyone ‘I’m only getting started.’

The ad first aired during CNN’s Republican debate in America and suggests Underwood is running for a second term in fictional office.

X Factor champion Louisa Johnson has already starred in two of her own music videos – as well as previously auditioning for Simon Cowell.

Reports claim she was also ‘prepped by a management team since the age of seven’ and was asked to audition for The X Factor last year following her impressing bigwigs with an audition on Britain’s Got Talent.

The 17-year-old even studied at the same theatre school as Lauren Platt, who came fourth on the show last year, aged 17.

We’ve seen Jeremy Kyle sort all kinds of disputes between husband and wife over the years – but we can’t remember one quite like this.

Because Wednesday’s show played host to a woman who is so completely obsessed with Westlife that she admitted she’d rather have Shane Filan than her actual other half.

Which, given she said it in front of him may not have gone down too well.

The show saw the spouse in question, named Adam, attempt to tackle his wife Kirsty over her fixation with the Irish boy band, and the effect it was having on their relationship.

Actor and legendary children’s TV presenter Derek Griffiths has signed up to the ITV soap in the new year.

Derek will play retired mechanic Freddie, a motorbike loving pensioner who strikes up an unlikely friendship with Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) following the death of his wife, a client of Kylie’s at Audrey’s hair and beauty salon.

Possibly the best character in possibly the BBC’s best crime drama Luther might have been killed off-screen. Possibly.

But if lovable serial killer Alice Morgan really is dead, we want blood.

Alice has been John Luther’s unlikely sidekick and in our opinion the best evil badass on telly since the first series in 2010, and she’s the only female character to hold her own alongside the maverick detective.

Now fans of the show have been left outraged that the character – portrayed by Ruth Wilson – has not appeared in the fourth series which began last night.
