Every Monday, The X Factor’s latest evicted act will be revealing all on life on ITV’s biggest show to Metro.co.uk
This week, finalists Reggie N Bollie discuss their happiness at their warm reception and why they accept the winners single was a ‘fair choice’…
We feel very happy that we finished in this position, first runner up is a very good place to finish. We wanted to win, but runner up is good.
And Louisa also deserved it so we are happy for ourselves and we are happy for Louisa.
When Simon mentioned he could see us in the final, and some of the others did, that’s when we thought ‘wow, being in the final could actually happen’, so we upped our game just so we could make it to the final.
Honestly though, we do not know why you have all warmed to us, but… Read the full story
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield proved they’re just like us on Thursday morning when they started drinking mid way through their working day.
Or actually at 11.37am.
The two were talking to Italian chef Gennaro Contaldo who was making a tiramusu live on air when he offered the pair a shot of the sour drink. Happily accepting, Holly and Philip downed the drink as they continued with the segment.
And then they accepted another a few minutes later when the tiramusu was ready.

This week, finalist Che Chesterman reveals how he felt messing up those Adele lyrics…
I was so happy and humbled and honoured to be in the competition that I was happy to be at the final in the first place.
So to go out at the last hurdle, it wasn’t a bad thing, and not something I can be disheartened about – and I was so happy that Reggie N Bollie had gone through to the final because they’re two of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life.
At that point, I knew there would good things to come for me and I’m just happy to be in this position.
I actually had quite a lot of input with my song choices.
Stacey Slater had a massive shock as she finally found out the secret behind her key.
Her mum Jean came round for an early Christmas dinner, but the lovely gathering took a dramatic turn as Stacey told her about the man who has been following her recently.
Jean’s sudden evasiveness made the young mum suspicious and it wasn’t long before the pair were having a row.
Backed into a corner by her daughter, Martin and her husband Ollie, Jean took the key out of her handbag before spilling the beans.
It opens a safety deposit box owned by Stacey’s dad, and Stacey is on the list of people who are allowed to open it.
Piers Morgan and Lord Sugar on Good Morning Britain = all the feels.
The pair are more used to public Twitter spats where they tear strips off each other, but for one day they put their differences aside and shared the love.
Lord Sugar appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about the Apprentice final.
‘You know when you’ve lived your entire life and all you really want to do is have one person in front of you on live television, exposed,… Read the full story
Eagle-eyed fans of The Apprentice think that the show may have ruined the outcome of this year’s final thanks to the angle of Lord Alan Sugar’s finger.
Wednesday night’s show saw five candidates battle it out for a place in the grand finale but only Joseph Valente and Vana Koutsomitis made it through.
However the trailer for next week’s showdown suggested that (STOP READING NOW IF YOU DON’T WANT TO RISK IT BEING RUINED) Joseph may be the one that Lord Sugar invests in, as the host’s finger was angled to the left – towards Joseph’s seat.
Who knew Scotty T from Geordie Shore was such a big fan of Neighbours?
He might be used living it up in the Toon and flirting up a storm with anyone in a dress, but when he’s not partying he finds the time to indulge in his passion – no not sexy times, catching up on his favourite Aussie soap.
Yup, the Geordie is a huge Neighbours fan, in fact his fandom is so huge, he even has Dr Karl Kennedy, AKA Alan Fletcher, on speed dial to get the goss on upcoming episodes that have already aired in Aus.
She’s been wanting it for over five years and in a bedroom far, far away, Amy Farrah Fowler finally got to have sex with Sheldon Cooper.
And what could have been more fitting than Sheldon having his first coitus than in a special Star Wars: The Force Awakens-themed Big Bang Theory episode.
Celebrations all around.
In the episode, which aired in the US last night and will air on our shores in the new year, Sheldon is seen in Amy’s bed while Amy awkwardly climbs under the duvet next to him.
It might be the most popular programme of the year over here – but things aren’t looking quite so rosy for the new US version of The Great British Bake Off.
Because according to reports The Great Holiday Baking Show – which features our very own Mary Berry – could be facing the chop after just one series, after ratings fell dramatically.
The latest instalment of the show, which airs on US network ABC, managed to attract just three million viewers – losing 700,000 from the previous episode.
Which is a far cry from the audience of almost 15m who tuned to… Read the full story
The couch gags in The Simpsons have always been one of the most consistently original parts of the show over a 27-year run, but this reimagining by director Lee Hardcastle will make you look at them in a whole new light.
Lee is a self-proclaimed ‘Claysploitation artist’ and has now given the couch gag a dark and depraved transformation.
In Lee’s imagining of the iconic Simpsons intro, the family are brutally murdered by a gang of thugs led by characters Jimbo Jones and Dolph Starbeam.
Sir Alan Sugar has left Twitter feeling really weird after posting this Biblical tweet ahead of Sunday’s Apprentice final.
The Amstrad founder is famous for his bizarre Twitter escapades but this festive gem – featuring the series finalists as Jesus’ parents – is one of his strangest yet.
To be fair Joseph does share the name of the humble carpenter whose body his head has been transplanted on to.
But what about the other finalist, social media entrepreneur Vana Koutsomitis?
Vana wants to design a new dating app but it looks like Sir Alan’s trying to set her up with Joseph instead.
Here’s a potentially bit of bad news for Katie Hopkins – her TLC chat show, If Katie Hopkins Ruled The World, is said to have been cancelled after only one series.
The series saw the lady herself joined by a panel of celebrity guests to debate some of the thornier issues of the day – with topics including personal grooming and whether overweight people should pay extra for flights.
According to sources around 69,000 people tuned in to watch the first show – which featured guests Gemma Collins and Liz Jones – when it aired… Read the full story
Just when you thought it wasn’t possible to make any more spoof versions of John Lewis’ Man On The Moon Christmas ad, along came this seriously cute effort.
The ad, featuring pupils from Saltersgate School in Midlothian, Scotland, bears an obvious resemblance to the John Lewis version in terms of storyline and the Half The World Away song.
Except this time around the theme’s a bit different, as pupils from the school attempt to cheer up a lonely alien on the moon – by sending him up a box of Christmas decorations.
Awwwwww.
The aim of the clip – apart from to warm a few hearts of course – is to raise money for new playground equipment for the school, which caters for pupils with additional needs.
Childcare development officer Nick Timotheou explained that that the advert came about after he was inspired by John Lewis 2014 advert Monty The Penguin to make a video to show… Read the full story
