Could the gang be back on our screens sooner than we thought? (Picture: NBCU)
Kelsey Grammar has sparked fresh rumours that the Frasier reboot could be occurring sooner than we all thought – after being spotted with a script under his arm bearing the iconic logo.
The actor, who is currently performing the West End production of Man Of La Mancha, was seen strolling around London on his break clutching a thick wad of paper.
On the front page stood Frasier’s logo, as well as Grammnet – the name of Kelsey’s production company that makes the show.
The star is currently performing on London’s West End (Picture: BBC)
Frasier’s return has been in the rumour mill for a while now, with Kelsey doing nothing but spur on the thought with the confirmation that they were at least in talks.
He warned that “something has changed in their lives” – which could well be a reference to the passing of their dad, seeing as actor John Mahoney, who played him, passed away in February last year.
Last being seen on screen in 2004, the show has never lost its edge and remains a consistent fave on the re-run circuit.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about the possibility of what’s to come back in March, Kelsey explained: ‘I’d want everybody back. We would need to deal with that within the storytelling, but I’d want everybody back, if they want to come back.’
The rest of the cast include David Hyde Pierce, who played Frasier’s brother Niles Crane, Jane Leeves as caretaker Daphne Moon, and Peri Gilpin, who played the long-suffering producer of Frasier’s radio show, Roz Doyle.

The One Show’s Matt Baker got pelted in the face by a dodgeball just seconds into last night’s show.
The 41-year-old presenter, who was moments into opening the mid-week installment alongside pregnant co-host Alex Jones, was smacked square in the head as members of Great Britain’s dodgeball team trained just meters away.
Ah yes, the joys of live television.
Taken aback by the pummel, Matt yelled: ‘Whoah, it got me in the face!’ before adding: ‘I actually thought I’d bust my nose for a second then.’
Matt said he thought he’d done his nose in (Picture: BBC)
Luckily the presenter laughed off the mishap before throwing the ball back at one of the players.
Matt and Alex were joined by This Morning’s Rochelle Humes and Chris Kamara on the show ahead of the return of Ninja Warriors, with Rochelle also suffering a little mishap.
As they were welcomed onto the show, Matt lobbed a ball in Rochelle’s direction, but it just missed her hands and flew right past her.
‘That was unfortunate,’ she siged. ‘I was really hoping to catch that ‘
Emily apologised profusely after the incident (after screaming a bit), telling audiences: ‘Oh my god. I’m so sorry. I can’t believe I have just dropped a lamb on national television.’
The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.

The Duffer Brothers have been accused of stealing the plot of Stranger Things (Picture: Rex)
Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer are preparing to face trial for plagiarising the show’s plot lines.
Director Charlie Kessler claims that the pair stole the overriding story of Stranger Things from his 2011 short film, titled Montauk.
A six-minute film, Montauk is based in the 70s and works as a found-footage piece from the time, which uncovers government experiments.
Stranger Things has become a global smash hit for Netflix (Picture: Netflix)
Alleging that he pitched Montauk to become a series to the Duffer Brothers at Tribeca Film Festival in 2014, and gave them ‘materials’ on how the project would work.
It would follow the story of a missing boy in the town, and his friends and family’s attempts to find him. At the same time, there would be a government base performing secret experiments on children.
Kessler adds they did not show any interest, but later pitched a story, titled Montauk, to Netflix.
That show was later developed into Stranger Things, with Montauk, Long Island being traded for the fictional Hawkins, Indiana.
Stranger Things featured experiments on children (Picture: Netflix)
Series one of Stranger Things, which became a huge success, was based in the early 80s, and featured a boy going missing and the effect it has on its family as he appears to be untraceable. There was also a young girl, named Eleven, who was getting experimented on.
The Duffer Brothers tried to have the lawsuit thrown out, however the Los Angeles judge refused, and now they will be facing a court case as a result.
Kessler wants monetary damages if the Duffer Brothers are found guilty.
According to Entertainment Weekly however, both shows could simply be based off of the same conspiracy theory that exists surrounding Montauk.
The conspiracy theory suggests that paranormal experiments are run by the government in Montauk.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Duffer Brothers reps for comment and clarification.
Stranger Things is currently available on Netflix.

Susanna defended her former co-star (Picture: ITV)
Susanna Reid has defended her ex-Strictly dance partner Kevin Clifton amid rumours he’s now dating Stacey Dooley and the ‘Strictly curse’ has struck again.
The Good Morning Britain presenter performed with Kevin during a stint on the series seven years ago, and has remained good contact with him.
However, shortly after competing Susanna split from her husband, and on Loose Women, the star was grilled about what happened and if she believed the ‘Strictly Curse’ – where relationships breakdown or start up because of the show, was real or not.
Kevin and Susanna performed on Strictly together back in 2013 (Picture: BBC/Rex)
But she told the group: ‘I call it the Strictly coincidence. Kevin and I got on like a house on fire and Strictly was not responsible for the break-up of my relationship.
‘I’m still fantastic friends with my ex, and still really good friends with Kevin.’
On Kevin’s rumoured new relationship with Stacey Dooley, and his rumoured connected to the ‘Strictly curse’, Susanna added: ‘Again, I would just say that is a coincidence unfortunately – especially in my case. I mean, I can’t talk about anyone else.
Kevin is now rumoured to be dating Stacey Dooley (Picture: Instagram)
‘Unfortunately, our relationship was at that stage. I would say if you look at Strictly overall and everyone who’s participated, the vast majority of people in relationships when they start Strictly, end up in the same relationships!’
‘But just like any workplace, I met my ex through work – it is normal,’ she added. ‘Strictly’s just like one big Christmas party!’
Strictly Come Dancing returns later this year on BBC One.

Sammy defended herself from The Chase fans after being mocked for looking down (Picture: ITV)
An autistic contestant on ITV’s The Chase has fought back after she was accused of being ‘shifty’ because she was looking down during the programme.
Sammy – who floored viewers when she revealed she bought a house for £70,000 – appeared on the Bradley Walsh-fronted quiz show on April 10 and was bullied by viewers, who notoriously call themselves The Chase Gang.
The 26 year old support analyst from Doncaster revealed she was incredibly anxious, which she explained was in part due to her autism.
Following the episode, she tweeted: ‘Hi all, to everyone saying I’m staring at the floor and look shifty, I’m very sorry, I’m autistic and have trouble looking at people. I tried my best but I was really nervous #thechase #Autism.’
However, since sharing her story, Sammy has been bombarded with supportive messages and received a well-earned like from Chaser Paul Sinha.
‘As the mother of a daughter like you, I recognised it pretty quickly,’ replied one follower. ‘I hate that you have to justify your actions on what should be a fun show but what would have been a massive personal challenge to you. Well done for giving it your best shot and I hope you had a fun day!’
Those sentiments were echoed by another: ‘You were amazing and incredibly brave to face the last round on your own. We had everything crossed for you to win!!! X.’
‘Firstly, awesome post thanks for sharing. Secondly, you did yourself proud Thanks for raising awareness for #autism,’ congratulated a third.
In fact, Sammy didn’t just do herself proud – she smashed it, making it all the way to the final chase on her own with £4,000 in the bank.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.

It seems like forever since the first series debuted, so much so fans may not even remember which of the key cast members starred in the show from the beginning and which joined the family along the way.
So, because we’re kind, here are The Big Bang Theory actors that have starred in the show since the very first series…
Jim Parsons (Dr. Sheldon Cooper)
Jim has been playing Dr. Sheldon Cooper since the show’s inauguration in 2007.
In the first episode she asks a favour of the pair – to retrieve her TV from her ex-boyfriend Kurt, who happens to be huge and intimidating and results in them getting their trousers stolen.
Penny has gone from a struggling actress to a pharmaceutical rep (Picture: CBS)
Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz)
Simon too is an original cast member, although his character Howard has grown throughout the series from a failing ladies’ man to a married father-of-two.
We first meet him in Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment and witness him tirelessly attempt to flirt with Penny over the coffee table.
Kunal Nayyar (Dr. Raj Koothrappali)
Kunal completes the gang having also starred in the show as Raj since its first series.
Meanwhile other regular guest stars such as Kevin Sussman who plays comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, John Ross Bowie who play Sheldon’s nemesis Barry Kripke and Christine Baranski who plays Leonard’s insufferable mother Dr. Beverly Hofstadter make their debuts in the second series.
The final episode is expected to air in May (Picture: CBS)
Sara Gilbert who plays fellow Caltech experimental physicist – and love interest to Leonard and briefly Howard – Leslie Winkle has also graced the show since the beginning. However she hasn’t made an appearance since the ninth series.
Laurie Metcalf, Brian George and Alice Amter – who play Sheldon’s mother and Raj’s parents respectively – have also appeared intermittently since day one.
Lucy kept quiet about Paris potentially being her sister (Picture: Rex/Getty)
Michael Jackson’s goddaughter Lucy Lester has defended the singer and brushed of rumours that his daughter Paris Jackson could be her biological sister.

Speaking on Loose Women, Lucy said: ‘Michael will always be her dad. Biologically or not, Michael raised her, loved her, that’s all that really matters.’
During the chat, she also admitted that she is yet to watch Leaving Neverland, which makes numerous claims of sexual abuse on young boys spanning several years, and defended his ‘innocent mind’.

Paris and Lucy have lost contact since Jackson’s death (Picture: WireImage)
‘I don’t really feel like I need to,’ she said. ‘My opinion is not going to be swayed by a documentary, I don’t really want to listen to it.
‘The man that they are they describing in the allegations, that is not the man that I knew, it’s not my godfather, my dad’s best friend of thirty plus years.’
She continued: ‘I have had a lot of abuse off people that obviously believe the allegations, that’s quite hard especially when these people have never met him or spent time with him.’
Lucy then added that she felt there was ‘monetary gain’ for the allegations in the film being made.
‘I feel I have to spend a lot of time defending him to people that never knew him,’ she added.
Adding that she would love to speak to Paris and her brothers, Prince and Blanket, Lucy admitted that it was shame that they lost touch.
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.

Let’s take a closer look at where the magic happened (Picture: Getty/Google Maps)
There’s an outside chance you may of heard of a little show called Friends, which pretty much took over the 90s and launched the careers of screen royalty like Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox.
Friends went on for a whopping ten seasons and remains hugely popular to this day, with even the likes of Netflix having to reassure fans that the streaming service will keep the show in its repertoire a full 15 years after the show last aired.
So if you, like so many out there, are obsessed with Friends still, then read on, because we’ve got everything you need to know about where the show was filmed and the sets and locations you can actually visit…
The Friends filming locations
Sorry to burst your bubble, but, aside from establishing shots of exterior buildings, Friends wasn’t actually filmed in New York.
Season one was filmed on Stage Five of Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank California, and the iconic opening sequence was filmed in a fountain at the Warner Bros. Ranch, which some claim is inspired by the fountain in the Grand Army Plaza in Central Park which depicts Pomona, the Roman goddess of abundance.

You can visit the fountain they filmed the opening titles at – and no, this is not a drill (Picture: Wikimapia/http://wikimapia.org/1839989/Fountain#/photo/4184752)
The Ranch at Warner Bros is part of a large variety of exterior sets owned by the production company. The official Warner Bros. website boasts that, ‘The sets can be dressed to resemble any time, period or look imaginable.’
At the start of season two, filming moved to the bigger Stage 24, which became known as The Friends Stage after the show ended. Some parts of the set, such as the Central Perk set, is still available to tour.
Other well-known California filming locations were the Vasquez Rocks, which served as the Las Vegas filming location for Shutter Speed, the movie that was supposed to be Joey’s big break in season five, and the Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu, which famously appears as the Montauk beach setting for The One With The Jellyfish.

The One With The Jellyfish – which saw Monica stung by a jellyfish on the beach – wasn’t actually filmed in Montauk, where the beach house was set (Picture: Google/Comedy Central)
While so much of the show was shot in California, a Greenwich Village building, located on the corner of Grove and Bedford, served as the outside of Monica’s apartment building.
If you’re planning on looking around that area for the Central Perk Cafe however, don’t bother – it only exists on Warner Bros. Studios.

Sorry guys, Central Perk isn’t real (Picture: Channel 4)
In fact, practically all of the establishing shots used in Friends were filmed on-location.
Some of these iconic shots include the exterior of Chandler’s office, which is called the Solow Building on West 57th Street in NYC, and was also used in Sex and the City and Zoolander.
The Solow Building
The Lucille Lortel Theatre is a real and functioning off-Broadway theatre which was also used in an establishing shot when Joey acted in a play there in season three.

Sadly, The Moondance Diner – which was used for the exterior shots of the themed diner of the same name where Monica worked for a time – was a real place that could once have been found in Manhattan, but it was closed down in 2012 after moving to Wyoming in 2007 and now has a hotel on its site.
For the season finale of season four, The One with Ross’ Wedding, the Friends gang filmed on-location in London in front of the likes of the London Marriott hotel, Grosvenor Square, Westminster Abbey and on top of a bus in which Joey and Chandler cross Tower Bridge.
Can you visit the Friends filming locations?
Outdoor spaces like the building in Greenwich Village, the Vasquez Rocks, and the fountain in the Grand Army Plaza are public places, which means you can check them out for free, or on one of the various Friends walking tours on offer in NYC.
You can also take in the authentic Central Perk set by taking one of the Warner Bros. Studio tours on offer, for prices starting from $69 (£54). They’ve even got a working replica Central Perk Cafe for you to enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite to eat, just like the gang did back in the 90s.
For the fans living in London, you’re in luck, because the finale of season four was shot on-location in London, and all you need to do is take an open top tour bus to take in the city the way Joey and Chandler did in the show.
The touring Friends replica set exhibition will start in August, and tickets to the London event have already sold out. However there are still tickets available for FriendsFest in Manchester, Bristol and Milton Keynes, so if you want them, you better move fast.
The fun festival allows die-hard fans to explore replica sets from some of the most iconic scenes – including Monica’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Ross’ apartment, Central Perk, the hallway between Monica and Joey’s apartments and the stairwell Ross famously PIVOTS his sofa.
There are even original props on display too, such as Ross’ Science Boy magazine, the troll trophy Monica and Ross fought for in The One With All The Football and Joey’s bedtime penguin pal Hugsy.
Friends airs daily on Comedy Central and Channel 5, or you can catch it on Netflix. If you’re true fans though, you’ve got all 10 seasons on video…
So it comes as no surprise Lisa, Jennie Kim, Rose and Jison have been doing the rounds on television talk shows, making their debut performing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
But now BLACKPINK are also set to perform on The Late Late Show With James Corden, which will air in the middle of their iconic Coachella performance.

X Factor contestant Ray Boddington killed by tram in freak accident (Picture: MEN Media)
Ray Boddington, a former contestant on The X Factor, has died aged 77 after being struck by a tram in Manchester city centre, his family confirmed.
The singer passed away hours after being taken to a nearby hospital on Wednesday April 10.
Ray was locally famous as frontman of busking group Piccadilly Rats, who played major music festivals including Parklife and Kendal Calling and previously appeared on both The X Factor, The Jeremy Kyle Show and Judge Rinder.
His son Daniel Boddington told Manchester Evening News his dad donned his trademark sunglasses even in his final hours.
‘All of his family were there, at his bed,’ said Daniel. ‘My dad would have wanted everybody in Manchester to know that he loved them all.
‘I feel like my heart is shattered. I can’t describe the way it feels.’
Confirming an investigation into the tragedy had been launched, Greater Manchester Police said in a statement last week: ‘A man is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision with a tram.
‘Around 6:50pm yesterday (Wednesday 10 April 2019) a tram was travelling from Market Street in the direction of Victoria train station when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at the junction of High Street and Church Street.
‘The collision left the pedestrian – a 77-year-old man – with serious head injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

‘Anyone with information should contact GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
‘The tram driver provided negative samples for alcohol and drugs and no arrests have been made.
‘Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and speak to police.’
Police Constable Andrew Page added: ‘We’re working to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision which has left a man with serious injuries.
‘If you were in the area yesterday evening and you witnessed the collision then please get in touch with us, as your information could be vital in allowing us to piece together what happened.
‘We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone with video or dashcam footage.’

Andi managed to get on the wrong side of Gwen Stefani during his TOTP days (Pictures: REX)
From Live and Kicking through to Good Morning Britain, Andi Peters has encountered a number of celebs in his 30 year career.
So when given the opportunity, how could we resist prying about how nice stars really are behind closed doors?
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, the ever-professional host wouldn’t spill all the details – but did mention that his stint as a Top Of The Pops presenter brought about some memorable encounters that weren’t all that positive.
‘I had a run-in with Gwen Stefani once, at Top Of The Pops when I stopped one of her rehearsals. She wasn’t best pleased,’ he told us.
While it was all glitz and glam for the cameras, it appears that things behind the scenes popstars weren’t as willing to be as nice as some would hope – but it’s unfortunately par for the course and Andi has learned to take it all on the chin.
‘At Top of the Pops you’re always dealing with people with big egos,’ Andi explained. ‘Pop stars have very big egos generally.’
Andi’s kids TV days became a crash course on dealing with divas (Picture: Getty)
‘So that was always a lot of fun, going “Oh, what is today’s trauma gonna be?!”‘ he laughed.
As it turns out, even when he was trying to be nice, he found himself getting into trouble, with another unnamed diva lobbing donuts out of their dressing room in a rage.
‘We used to put things in people’s dressing room as gifts, and somebody threw Krispy Kremes – it was when they first came out – somebody threw the donuts out of the room and screamed “I don’t want these things in my room!!” We were like “…we were only being nice!” he told us.
‘I don’t remember who it was, I just remember the team going “Oh they’ve thrown the donuts out the room!”’
Gwen Stefani left a lasting impression on Andi – but not for the best reasons (Picture: Rex)
‘Pop stars are always interesting to deal with, movie stars as well,’ Andi continued.
‘Difference is, movie stars you don’t normally get direct access to, whereas popstars, you knock on their dressing room and you’re allowed in to bring their lunch, a movie star you knock on the door and someone else would come and take the lunch from you.
‘You’d never be allowed to see a movie star.’
Andi is now fronting a new campaign for eve sleep (Picture: EveSleep)
After remaining a TV constant for three decades, Andi is now trying his hand at podcasting, joining forces with Eve Sleep for their ‘Refuse to Snooze’ campaign to get people up in the morning.
It’s a topic that Andi, who has to regularly be up and ready for Good Morning Britain in the wee hours, found easy – seeing as he doesn’t have the luxury to be able to use it.
‘[I’m in bed by] nine o’clock. Woo hoo! Rock and Roll!,’ he joked. ‘If I’m doing a live broadcast I try to be in bed for nine o’clock. I might be getting up at 4 so at least then that gives me seven hours sleep.’
In the nine-minute long installments, Andi has had guests including Katie Piper – who admitted to having a crush on Andi’s workmate, Piers Morgan.
Jodie Kidd, Chris Robshaw, Anna Richardson and Anthony Ogogo have also made appearances.
Refuse To Snooze with Andi Peters in association with eve sleep, is available on iTunes, Spotify, TuneIn and Stitcher. To find out more, visit www.evesleep.co.uk/podcast.

Costumes are a television show essential. Without them, a show is rendered completely unbelievable, but with them they catapult our imaginations to a particular time and place, leaving behind a legacy in the process.
Whether it’s Villanelle’s pink dress in Killing Eve or Ugly Betty’s poncho, there’s usually always more than meets the eye and a whole world of tiny details that escape unnoticed.
Each week Back Into The Closet will deliver an exclusive look into the wardrobes of some of the world’s leading series to bring you all the costume secrets and niceties we might have missed.
Last week we caught up with Fleabag costume designer Ray Holman, but this time around we’re bringing you all the gems from Daisy May and Charlie Cooper’s comedy This Country.
We’ve got the lowdown on the wardrobe from the BBC Three mockumentary thanks to costume designer Miss Jacqueline White, including details of Kerry’s secret fat suit and the T-shirt the BBC banned.
The BBC banned a T-shirt from being used
The BBC made sure one particular logo T-shirt didn’t make it into the final cut (Picture: BBC)
Slugs, played by Michael Sleggs, is a sucker for a slimy slogan hoodie or top – and we wouldn’t be surprised if he was single-handedly keeping them in circulation.
In the image above, the character samples a pullover with the line: ‘I’ll be less sober tomorrow but you’ll be ugly for the rest of your life’, which is rather tame compared to the one that was actually banned by the broadcaster.
‘There was one T-shirt that the BBC stopped me from using,’ Jacqueline explained. ‘It was a woman bent over and then a man behind her and one arrow pointed to the man and said, “me”, and the other arrow pointed to the woman and said, “your mum.”
‘The clearance said we couldn’t use it. The producers dared me to put it in but I chickened out, I was too nervous to do it.’
She added: ‘There was a T-shirt that I got him [Slugs] that had a silhouette of a woman with big breasts on and she was naked and it said, “If it wasn’t for women and all the booze then I could have played for Swindon.”‘
Kaley’s look is based on serial killer Rose West
Kaley was based on a young Rose West (Picture: BBC)
Kaley couldn’t walk in her heels (Picture: BBC)
Celeste Dring’s character Kaley didn’t crop up on the scene until episode five of the first series when she went on a date with Kurtan.
‘My reference for her is a young Rose West,’ Jacqueline explained. ‘Her look is sickly and over-sexualised but like really innocent. Horrible.
‘There’s something very innocent about her character but something deeply sexual, so for her I just went and found things that I thought were really, really awful and made me laugh.’
She added: ‘For her outfit for the ball she was literally wearing a bra with a bit of lace attached to it.
‘I got her several pairs of really, really high heels and the way we decided on the shoes was the one she couldn’t walk in.’
Kerry wore a secret fat suit in series 2
Daisy May Cooper wore a fat suit during the second series of This Country to disguise her pregnancy (Picture: BBC)
Daisy was seven months pregnant during filming for the second series, so to disguise her bump the costume department splashed out on a fat suit for her.
‘I got a fat suit for Daisy because otherwise you would have really seen her bump,’ Jacqueline told us. ‘We upped her by about two dress sizes.’
Explaining the nitty gritty, she said: ‘They’re almost shaped a bit like a teardrop and made of foam.
‘They’re like pockets of fat which are added to all the places where you put on weight like your bra line, and you start building up the layers so it looks more realistic.’
Fat suits don’t come cheap though by any stretch of the imagination, with Jacqueline adding: ‘It cost a fifth of the overall budget.’
All of Kerry’s clothes are too big and all of Kurtan’s are pristine
Kurtan’s clothes were always pristine (Picture: BBC)
To further the comedy through clothing, Jacqueline made sure that all of Kerry’s outfits are so large they made her look square and Kurtan’s wardrobe is always pristine.
‘Anything to do with Kerry’s femininity or sexuality was wiped,’ she said. ‘In an aesthetic sense we aimed to make her look like a block and make her look bigger.
‘I would do things like rub Vaseline into the collars and the cuffs and spray her clothes, so nothing would ever appear shiny or clean or a spark.
‘All of her costumes were creased. Nothing was steamed, ironed, or anything like that.’
Kurtan ran the risk of looking Shoreditch (Picture: BBC)
Jacqueline revealed: ‘Everything of Kurtan’s was absolutely pristine, pressed and steamed, but obviously it’s worn. If I bought something new, it would go through the machine four or five times because otherwise you’d get this papery quality to it.
‘There’s a sexual nature to his character and there’s also some sort of bravado and somehow his very small frame, wearing these very large square clothes looks ridiculous.’
But there was a fine line when it came down to executing this.
‘There were definitely quite a few things that were rejected because he had a thing with size,’ Jacqueline added.
‘If you put something in a medium on him he’d just immediately seem to looked kind of handsome and also a bit Shoreditch.
‘You go too far one side and instead of making someone look like a disaster they look like they’re walking down Kingsland Road.’
Kerry’s Three Lions manager’s jacket wasn’t in the original script
This jacket was a classic (Picture: BBC)
The series two finale saw Kerry rep an incredible manager’s jacket, which was of course ‘official England merchandise.’
The item set the wardrobe department back a grand total of 50 pence and believe it or not, wasn’t in the original script.
‘I got that in a jumble sale in Oxfordshire,’ Jacqueline spilled. ‘They actually wrote that in after I found that jacket. I was looking for s*** sportswear that we could make a four lion transfer and just by fluke I found that jacket.
‘They thought it was so funny that they wrote it into the story with the vacuum cleaners.’
People in Swindon were iffy about the series
Not all of the Swindon locals were best pleased about This Country being filmed and set in the town.
‘Half the people were really into it and half the people just saw us as a pain,’ Jacqueline said.
‘I think they thought Daisy and Charlie were making fun of Cirencester, but you just write about what you know.’

Paul O’Grady is kicking off the new series with bisexual contestants (Picture: Channel 5)
The Blind Date reboot is continuing to break new grounds by introducing bisexual contestants for the first time ever.
After bringing in all-female and all-male line-ups, the new episode will feature a man choosing between a mixed line-up of singletons.
In a groundbreaking episode airing in May, dater Jordan, a beauty consultant, will choose between support worker Lily, model Jesse and French master’s student Zoe.
And of course host Paul O’Grady will be there to help Jordan pick his best match – and crack some jokes as ever.
The host said he believes the new format will be a choice the late Cilla Black, who used to front the dating show, would have appreciated.
‘I’m delighted that Blind Date is continuing to be inclusive by giving a platform to those who identify as bisexual,’ he said.
‘It was a joy to film and I’m sure Cilla would have been proud.’
It comes after the history-making drag queen special last year, with Paul even dusting off his leopard print coat from his days as Lily Savage.

The contestants were Shyanne O’Shea from Essex, Anna Phylactic from Manchester and Trampagne from Portsmouth.
When asked to prove how they stand out from the crowd, Anna declared: ‘I have my face painted on a wall in Manchester, but if either of these two did the council would demolish it!’
But it was Shyanne who won the day and headed off to Somerset for a romantic date with picker Luke.
Blind Date airs Sundays at 8pm on Channel 5.

Typically, this runs between October to December – perfect for a winter binge watch.
Starting life as a series of books by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher has since spawned life as a highly popular video game series.
It was announced last year that Superman star Henry Cavill would play Geralt of Rivia – the witcher (aka monster hunter) in question.
Eamon Farren will play complicated knight Cahir, who joins Geralt on a quest to locate a young girl named Ciri.
The video game and books have become worldwide smash hits (Picture: Netflix)
Though Witchers are indeed human, they’ve been chemically and magically altered to make them the perfect weapons for combating the supernatural beasts and monsters that haunt the strange land known as The Continent.
Armed with magical powers, heightened reflexes and special abilities, they are able to take on beasts that would kill any other human – though of course, they’re not invincible.
In the midst of the medieval world he lives, Geralt will inadvertently find himself at the centre of huge political and royal intrigues as well as cataclysmic events.
Sounds like a perfect filler for the whole in our hearts Game Of Thrones will leave behind.
The Witcher is coming soon to Netflix.

A new show will see couples film themselves having sex (Picture: Channel 4)
A new Channel 4 show sees couples attempt to solve their relationship woes by recording their most intimate moments for the general viewing public.
Sex Tape will see participant couples film their lives with personal cameras, to record everything from their rows, make-ups and sex lives to be broadcast on TV.
After they film their ‘sex tape’, each pair is joined by two other couples and relationship therapist Anjula Mutanda – where they’re given advice and share whether the experience has brought them closer together.
It may sound like a terrible dystopian nightmare, but one couple has stated the show helped save their relationship.
Brian Matthews and Victoria Obahor in Sex Tape (Picture: Channel 4)
Club owner Brian Matthews, 35, and girlfriend Victoria Obahor, 28, went on the show to save their three-year relationship. While in the early days they had experimental sex lives including a threesome, they encountered problems in their relationship after Brian admitted to having an affair.
Brian said: ‘Stupidly, many moons ago I cheated on Victoria and we’ve had trust issues ever since then, and I’m also a bit of a male chauvinist if you like, I don’t think it, but Victoria thinks I am.
‘She saw the programme advertised and said, “I think that might help our relationship.”’
Filming them both having sex proved a difficult task for Victoria, who described the experience as ‘mortifying’.
Asked what the hardest moment for them to watch was, Victoria said: ‘Having sex on telly! I was mortified, absolutely mortified.
‘The simple fact I was hot, I was flustered, I was feeling all the emotions when I was watching it, it was horrible!
‘It’s underneath the covers but knowing there’s a camera watching the covers, me performing sexual acts, that’s daunting, the moving duvet…’
Despite their concerns, however, the pair admit the show has benefitted their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun, Victoria said: ‘It has made me insatiable again! I have started to go back to the old ways in the bedroom. It has helped me.
‘I am not a bored housewife any more and the programme helped us find stuff out. I did want to stay with Brian and the counselling made a difference.’
You can catch Sex Tape on Channel 4 Friday 26 April at 10pm.
More 28 Days Later than The Walking Dead, Black Summer is packed with screams and little time to breath, following a group of disconnected strangers making their way through the sudden outbreak.
Justin Chu Cary stars as Spears, who is currently disguised as a US army officer after killing the owner of his uniform while being held captive. Why he was in handcuffs in the first place, hopefully we’ll get to learn more if Netflix decide to pick Black Summer up for another season.
‘I mean it’s not up to me but one of my favourite things about the show is it really only takes place over three to four days, if you track it, it’s not even a week,’ he told Hidden Remote. ‘I love that, I hope they don’t go too much forward, if anything, I’d love to see them drop in maybe even a few days before.
‘I would love to see what’s happening with the heist or money looting thing that I’m talking about in the first scene with the soldier. I know part of the series is not really about backstory but I would love to open that up and see what world Spears comes from.’
He continued: ‘I feel like I’ve heard the writers talking about how they wanted this first season to just hit you hard and throw you into the world, not getting backstory, not getting anything, just this adrenaline rush to the stadium.
‘Then, hopefully, in seasons to come, we start to unpack and open up these characters and learn more about the world and the virus that has infected everybody. I think it is an interesting way to tell a story, to just kind of throw you into the adrenaline mix and then unpack.’
Black Summer is available to stream on Netflix now.

Vikings star Clive Standen has pledged his support for a nine-year-old fan with an inoperable brain tumour – urging fans to help raise money for a potentially life-changing procedure.
The Rollo actor sent a video direct to young Charlie Stephenson, whose parents are currently trying to raise £125,000 for a procedure that’s unavailable on the NHS, urging him to continue his fight.
He told Charlie: ‘I know a few things about fighting bad guys and being a warrior. You need two things especially: one is strength, and two is bravery.’
‘But even the bravest people in the world – they get scared sometimes and that’s fine. And even the strongest people, they can be tired. It takes a lot to be strong all the time,’ he added.
Clive then said that he knew a ‘little secret’, revealing that Charlie’s mum and dad were the strongest and bravest people in the world – making Charlie super strong and super brave.
‘I know you’re really poorly now and I am so proud of you for being so strong and so brave and we all are that know about you all around the world,’ Clive added.
The star is known to most as Rollo in Vikings (Picture: History)
‘Hang in there, and keep fighting, because we never give up.’
Alongside the video, he posted a link to how fans can donate, and explained that while the operation ultimately won’t cure him, it could prolong his life to potentially double his current life expectancy.
Currently, the family have raised £32,000 of their current total in order to get Charlie Convection Enhanced Delivery (CED) therapy.
It involves an operation to implant up to four narrow catheter into the brain to allow chemotherapy drugs to be delivered directly into the tumour.
This treatment is particularly for high-grade tumours that cannot be operated on due to their location or cannot be removed completely.
Vikings is available on Amazon Prime Video and History.
