The third season of The Handmaid’s Tale comes to an end on Channel 4 tonight.

This season fans saw June’s situation get worse as she resorted to a new plan to strike against Gilead and rebel against the state.

Now that it’s coming to an end, many fans are left wondering whether there will be another season of the popular American drama.

If you’re one of those people wanting to know if and when there will be a new episodes of the show, then here is everything that you need to know.

Will there be a season four of The Handmaid’s Tale?

The good news for fans is that The Handmaid’s Tale has already been renewed for a fourth season.

US streaming service Hulu confirmed the news in July while season three was still airing.

A release date for the fourth season hasn’t yet been confirmed, but it is likely to air at some point between April and June in 2020.

The first two seasons of the show aired towards the end of April in 2017 and 2018, but the most recent season aired slightly later in the year, premiering in June 2019.

Leading star Elisabeth Moss had recently revealed that she nearly turned down the role of June, before finally agreeing to join the series.

She told Heat Magazine: ‘The problem was that I didn’t want to sign on necessarily to do another TV show so quickly, as it had only been a couple of years since I worked on Mad Men.

‘But I was thinking about whether to do the show one evening and I remember having an almost nightmarish experience of waking up in the middle of the night imagining not taking it and someone else doing it.’

Mel B has joined Celebrity Juice as a new team captain.

She will replace Paddy McGuinness next series, who can’t take part due to ‘scheduling conflicts’.

With her outspoken personality and straight talking, we have no doubt that the Spice Girl will definitely keep Keith Lemon on his toes.

Mel said in a statement: ‘I am so happy that I’m going to be part of the Celebrity Juice family and thrilled to be a captain.

‘My mission is to give Keith a run for his money. Watch out. Things are going to get even more crazy.’

She joins This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, who is back as team captain for another year.

Paddy, who also fronts Top Gear, is unable to take part in the upcoming series as they couldn’t make his busy schedule work this time round.

He joined Keith as team captain last series, replacing Fearne Cotton who decided to quit the show after 10 years.

Fearne said at the time: ‘It has been a joy to be part of this magnificent show and I wish the team the very best in future series.’

Paddy previously said that he loved being part of Celebrity Juice because ‘you do forget you’re on telly’.

Speaking about his first day on set, he said: ‘I did feel nervous at first. I’ve done every series, I know everybody.

‘But when I sat there I thought “Oh I’ve gotta introduce people and be a little bit more authoritative”.

‘That lasted for about two minutes and a couple of pints! I were rolling on the floor with Mark Wright and I’m like we’re in. We’re off.’

Celebrity Juice returns to ITV2 in the autumn.

Will there be a Peaky Blinders season 6?

Will we be seeing more of Tommy Shelby in a sixth season of Peaky Blinders? (Picture: BBC)

Sunday night TV has become unmissable again now that Peaky Blinders season 5 has kicked off on BBC One.

The series began over the Bank Holiday weekend with the first two instalments bringing the Shelbys back to our screens, introducing some intriguing new characters and setting up a potential political flashpoint for Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) after he met Fascist party leading Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin).

With episode three due to air on Sunday night we’re already halfway through the fifth series – which means we’re already asking questions about a season six.

Will we be seeing Tommy and the others again? Here’s what you need to know.

Will there be a Peaky Blinders season 6?

Although the BBC hasn’t confirmed whether there will be another season it looks likely there will be, as creator Steven Knight has previously revealed he is already working on seasons six and seven of the show.

Speaking to BBC News back in 2018 Knight said ‘We are definitely doing series six and we will probably do seven. After series four it went mad.

‘We’ve talked to Cillian Murphy and he’s all for it, and the rest of the principal cast are in for it.’

Knight also revealed that originally there were plans to wrap things up after the current season.

‘We were originally going to end it with this series, but I just though that there’s so many people who are just getting into it now, it’d be such a shame to stop,’ he admitted.

When might we see Peaky Blinders season 6?

Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby in a still from Peaky Blinders season 5
Creator Steven Knight has two more series in the pipeline (Picture: BBC)

Since the BBC hasn’t even confirmed it yet it’s much too early to say, although the fourth series came to an end just before Christmas 2017, meaning we had to wait almost two years before the current series came along.

So assuming it does go ahead we reckon it’ll be at least 2021 before the Shelbys return to our screens.

What time is Peaky Blinders on BBC One tonight?

The third episode of season five is on BBC One on Sunday night at 9pm.

The remaining three episodes will air at the same time on Sundays for the next three weeks.

You can catch up with any instalments you might have missed on BBC iPlayer.

John Barrowman has confirmed he will be a new judge on Dancing On Ice.

The actor promised to bring ‘fun, fearlessness and fabulousness’ to the panel when the show returns in early 2020.

He replaces Jason Gardiner, who quit the show last month.

In a typically entertaining video posted to social media, John announced the news by the pool, wearing an Elvis Presley-style outfit and ice skates.

He showed he is still pretty nifty on them as he performed high kicks and twirled around while being filmed.

John, 52, joked he would be a contestant, saying: ‘I’ve got something super exciting to announce to you. I’m gonna be on Dancing On Ice.

‘I’m so glad I saved my outfit and my skates from season one so I can practice doing my stuff.’

When told the show ‘don’t want you on the ice’ he then revealed his role.

John continued: ‘Oh I’m gonna be a judge. I’m gonna be a judge on the 2020 season of Dancing On Ice.

‘I’m gonna bring this, I’m gonna bring fun, fearlessness and fabulousness. I may as well bring the outfit along and the skates.’

It comes after Jason, 47, quit the show in August following rumours producers were trying to replace him in order to avoid a ‘bullying row’.

Jason infamously clashed with Towie star Gemma Collins on the show earlier this year.

Jason and Gemma drew in the viewers with their on air spats, with the reality TV star accusing Jason of ‘selling stories’ about her. He had previously branded Gem lazy and dished out withering criticisms about her ‘lamely executed’ ice skating routines.

An original Dancing On Ice judge, Jason was on the panel from 2006 to 2011, but was briefly dropped in 2012.

He returned for the following two series and then for the show’s revival in 2018, joining Torvill and Dean and Diversity star Ashley Banjo.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in 2020.

Peaky Blinders season 5 episode 3 review: Halfway point focuses on set up rather than pay-off for Shelbys

Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory and Paul Anderson in Peaky Blinders season 5 episode 3
Tommy sits down and lays down plans in a timid but intense episode 3 (Picture: BBC)

Somehow we’ve blinked and season 5 of Peaky Blinders has already hit its halfway point. It almost seems like an injustice, but at the same time they’ve definitely made every second count.

So it’s nice when an episode like this allows people to recalibrate a little, and aptly, it’s titled Strategy. Tommy (Cillian Murphy) and Arthur (Paul Anderson), have a lot of spinning plates in the air at the moment, and if they’re not careful, it’s going to cause a smash.

Tommy decides to pull back and lay down plans relating to infiltrating the new political party being set up by slimeball Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin). Getting intel where he can and setting up stories that we’ll now see play out.

But as he does that, Arthur ends up heading in the opposite direction, and goes fire and brimstone after Linda leaves him.

Let’s make no mistake here, this episode MVP is, without doubt, Paul Anderson. Switching Arthur from bumbling comic relief to an unstoppably violent man on a rampage within the space of two episodes is no mean feat. But he’s believable, heartbreakingly real, and terrifying.

Linda (Kate Phillips) made the right decision leaving him, but the thing is, it’s too little, too late, and unless it’s a power play on her part to give Arthur a kick up the backside, she’s naïve to think he’s just going to let her walk out.

Delivering a message via the first peaky blind of the season is probably going to give her a wake-up call, though how she’ll return to him is a different thing.

It’s hard to write down all the storylines that are currently going on at the moment, but somehow if you’re watching it does all make sense somehow. Steven Knight doesn’t coddle his audience into a basic one-note story, but also knows when to toe the line of giving too much information.

Polly and Michael by the firepit in Peaky Blinders season 4
Polly’s been playing it quiet this season – which only means there’s fire to come (Picture: BBC)

For a full mini recap:  Ada (Sophie Rundle) is trying to bond with fellow preggers Shelby Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy); Ada’s son Karl isn’t happy about having a potential black father-in-law in Younger; the IRA woman is still a thing though no one’s quite sure how yet; Mosley as an insider and knows about the ins-and-outs of the Shelby workings; there are abusive nuns and Michael (Finn Cole) is still being moody that no one is being nice to him even though he’s done nothing to warrant otherwise.

Oh, and it’s also Polly’s (Helen McCrory) birthday, and she’s 45 years old.

It seems that they’re not quite sure what to do with Polly this season, with her base in Birmingham not really allowing her involvement in that much of the drama. She’s always been a behind the scenes kind of gal, but she appears a little absent in the episode so far.

Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby) in Peaky Blinders
Arthur Shelby’s volatile nature could only end in disaster (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)

Perhaps that’s deliberate. With her boys flying the nest in their many different ways, she’s a good business head but is not as needed anymore, and in a sense, you can kind of tell she feels it.

Jumping at the chance to help Aberama Gold (Aidan Gillan), who is still very much in love with her, she even goes against Tommy’s wishes and all of a sudden she feels useful again, but then she drives off and that’s pretty much the last we see of her all episode.

Hopefully they’ll find a way to bring Polly into the drama soon, and back on the frontline with the boys, because we miss her.

The Billy Boys plot though is where the most fun is, and after last week’s brutal killing of Bonnie, Aberama has decided to ignore the Peakys advice, gather the gypsys and sort it out himself.

He half succeeded too, before Arthur appeared with a plan and a hand grenade, sparking all out war between the Birmingham mobsters and the Glaswegian gang.

Seeing as they’re connected to Mosley somehow too, it’s just a matter of time before war begins, and everything comes crashing together.

Peaky Blinders season 5 continues Sundays at 9pm on BBC One.

Dancing On Ice has welcomed newcomer John Barrowman to the panel for the 2020 series following Jason Gardiner’s exit.

The Doctor Who star, who was teased to be replacing the no-nonsense judge just days ago, will deliver his cutting critiques to the yet-to-be-announced celebrity contestants alongside Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo when the show returns in the New Year.

‘I am so excited to be returning to the Dancing On Ice family,’ John enthused. ‘Unlike most I have been through the rigorous task of skating live as a contestant in the first series.

‘This is a thrilling adventure for me and I hope to bring a Fresh, Fun and Fab-u-lous angle to the judging panel.’

‘John’s quick wit, inimitable talent and all-round fabulous personality make him the perfect addition to Dancing on Ice’s all-star panel and we’re looking forward to seeing him bring his own brand of sparkle to the show,’ added ITV’s Head of Entertainment Commissioning Katie Rawcliffe.

Original skating judge Jason confirmed the news of his departure himself via Instagram after rumours of him being replaced began to do the rounds.

‘After all these years I feel it’s time for me to say goodbye to my judging role and return to things I have been putting on hold and have been on the back burner for a while,’ he said.

‘To all of my DOI fans I really thank you for your support and encouragement over the years, I know we’ve gone through some controversies and I’m glad you got my unique judging style and honestly.

‘It’s because of you I never cowered or shied away from serving up the truth.’

ITV had reportedly been trying to find a replacement for the star following his clash with contestant Gemma Collins earlier this year.

He and the Towie queen butted heads over Jason’s brutally honest critiques and an insider told The Sun that show bosses are worried about his harsh put-downs in light of The Jeremy Kyle Show controversy.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in the New Year.

Peaky Blinders Episode 3 Photos
The complicated lives of the politicians and gangsters are about to collide (Picture: BBC)

Well…that was certainly violent. But then again, with two warring gangs and a slaying to avenge, the Peaky Blinders were hardly going to just have a quiet one, were they?

But there were also some other stings in the tail that no one was expecting, and they could prove to have some dire consequences for everyone involved.

There’s a lot to play with as the show hits its halfway point. (Yup, we’re halfway through the series already, it is moving ridiculously fast). Here’s everything we’re currently thinking about as we wait for episode four…

Kate Dickie (Mother Superior) in Peaky Blinders | Series 5 (BBC One) | Episode 03 Photographer: Matt Squire ?? Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019
Mother Superior had a lot to answer for as the Shelbys discovered her abuse to children (Picture: BBC)

Will the nuns retaliate?

The Peaky Blinders have one huge line in the sand when it comes to being violent or out for seeking trouble.

Do what you want with the adults who caused trouble, but never ever go after a kid.

So there was going to be fury when they discovered that a foundation that Tommy (Cillian Murphy) set up in the name of his beloved ex-wife Grace (Annabelle Wallis), is now being used to finance an orphanage that’s viciously beating the youngsters in their care.

The evil nuns seemed to stand their ground relatively well considering it all, and at the same time, Tommy and Polly (Helen McCrory) showed enormous restraint as they managed to not get violent with them and their shamelessly preaching justification for their actions.

Could the nuns have more to the story than meets the eye? And more importantly, is Polly going to follow through on that offer of coming after the nuns for their actions should they continue to abuse the children in their care?

Kingsley Ben-Adir (Col. Ben Younger) in Peaky Blinders
Can Younger win over young Karl before racist outside influences turn them against each other? (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)

What’s happening with Karl?

Young Karl is definitely a highly intelligent child, therefore it shouldn’t have been a shock that he’d figured out that mum Ada (Sophie Rundle) and Ben Younger (Kingsley Ben-Adir) have been getting more romantic.

However, it seems that Ada’s young boy is getting heavily influenced by those around him – especially when it comes to racist and xenophobic views.

Declaring he didn’t want a black dad was a blunt as hell way of making sure Younger knew his place, and seemed to shake the Army man up a little because of its cold nature.

Is this new influence at school going to cause Karl to lash out even more? He’s only a child, but it’s clear he’s definitely one to think his own ideas and put plans into action.

Natasha O???Keeffe (Lizzie Shelby) in Peaky Blinders | Series 5 (BBC One) | Episode 01 Photographer: Robert Viglasky ?? Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019
Does Lizzie have her own game to play? (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)

Does Lizzie have a bigger game plan?

After coming up with a plan with Linda (Kate Phillips) to leave Tommy and Arthur (Paul Anderson) should their business and behaviour get more violent, Lizzie (Natasha O’Keefe) had a sudden change of heart and decided to stay where she was.

Was it down to the sudden violence she was thrown into to defend her home? Or the knowledge that she would have to return to her prior life as a sex worker on the Birmingham streets?

As it turns out, it’s probably a bit of both, as well as the inherent knowledge that ‘if you’re married to a Shelby, you stayed married’.

But going back and forward seems like a strange way for her to lean, and accepting her fate as ‘Tommy’s property’ isn’t typically something we would consider for her, who has always played by her own rules.

Is there something more at stake?

Tommy seems to be succumbing to the charms of Mosleys political venture (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)

Is Tommy falling for Oswald Mosley’s charm?

Tommy doesn’t really hold back when he refers to Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) as ‘the devil himself’ in a meeting with Arthur and Michael (Finn Cole), and to be honest, Mosley proves his point in the meeting.

But Mosley also wants Tommy, with the idea of his facist utopia in parliament barely being able to work without him.

The troubled Shelby leader has definitely appeared to consider a role within the BUP, even finally accepting his offer to talk on a solo basis.

While he has sort of suggested he participate in the political party to try and undermine Mosley from the inside, does he secretly see the answer to all his problems lying with Tommy?

After all, whenever he’s told to walk away from the grubby politician, Mosley always seems to find a way to snake back in.

Sam Claflin (Oswald Mosley) in Peaky Blinders | Series 5 (BBC One) | Episode 06
What is Mosley up to? (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)

Who is Mosley’s informant?

At this point it seems like a fair assumption that whoever is informing Mosley is the Black Cat that Tommy was afraid off last episode.

Not only that, Mosley has an extremely intimate knowledge of the Blinders clan, stretching from Linda being seen talking to a new man to anger Arthur, to every intimate detail of Michael blowing all his money in Boston and returning with a pregnant wife.

So it’s someone they trust, and trust quite a lot. But apart from that, we have no clues.

Kate Phillips as Linda Shelby) in Peaky Blinders season 5
Has Linda left Arthur for good? (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)

Will Linda return to Arthur?

When Linda mentions to Lizzie that she’s getting close to another man who is helping her after leaving Arthur, it didn’t take a genius to figure out this will end in disaster.

But Arthur’s over-the-top attack on the man he believes is hiding his wife is extreme even by his standards, and it’s clear he’s beginning to suffer some kind of breakdown without her.

With the first Blinder of this series potentially killing a man just trying to look after Linda, it’s clear Linda can’t just walk away from the Shelbys – but she could die if she stays.

What is she going to do?

Programme Name: Peaky Blinders V - TX: 26/08/2019 - Episode: Peaky Blinders V Ep 2 (No. 2) - Picture Shows: Arthur Shelby (Paul Anderson) - (C) Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019 - Photographer: Ben Blackall
Arthur’s behaviour is getting out of hand but can Linda really be free of him? (Picture: BBC)

Is Arthur leaving the Blinders?

This seems like an almost impossibly stupid question to ask, but it’s obvious that the gangster life is taking its toll on Arthur’s ability to control himself.

Without Linda as well, he’s coming apart at the seams, and in just a few episodes we’ve seen him go from the source of comedy in the family to a man with blood on his hands declaring that they’re being controlled by the Devil himself.

In a weirdly telling moment, as he left the Quaker friend lying motionless on the floor, he dropped his iconic, razor-blade hiding flatcap on to the floor – a flat cap that symbolises his life within the gang.

While he was later seen in Scotland helping Aberama (Aidan Gillan) get out before he’s killed, is he seriously considering throwing in the town within the Shelby company?

How are the Billy Boys going to fight back?

A declaration of war is not something to sniff at, as after Arthur and Aberama Gold retaliated to an incoming attack by leaving behind a hand grenade surprise for the Billy Boys certainly sends a message.

Throw in Aberama literally tarring one of the Scottish gangsters during a surprise attack on the gang, and Jimmy McCavern (Brian Gleeson) clearly had fire in his eyes as the episode closed to credits.

So what is going to happen now between the Billy Boys and the Peaky Blinders, and how does this all fit into Mosley’s master plan?

Looks like someone is being mighty tricky – we just don’t know why.

Fans are loving/hating Sam Claflin’s turn as Oswald Mosley (Picture: BBC)

Peaky Blinders fans have been heaping praise on star Sam Claflin for his performance so far this series.

We are only three episodes in to series five of the hit BBC drama, and Sam’s chilling turn as fascist Oswald Mosley is fast becoming a highlight.

He has previously been seen having a tense verbal showdown with Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) as he asked the Peaky Blinders leader what he thought of the ‘Irish question’.

This week there’s war coming and we have already seen the beginnings of one between Mosley and Tommy as the former tried to recruit the latter to his cause.

It was also revealed that Mosley has someone on the inside close to Tommy reporting back to him, suggesting that Tommy is right to wary of his ‘black cat dream’ mentioned in the last episode.

Unbelievably we are already halfway through the series and there’s still loads yet to unfold.

But viewers are thoroughly enjoying watching the Hunger Games star try to out-scheme the main man.

Another wrote: ‘This is some performance by Sam Claflin because the moment he appears on screen I want to punch that smug smile from his face.’

‘Sam Claflin is doing a bang up job of making me hate Mosley’ came a further tweet.

The British actor will be able to rest easy knowing he’s done his job!

Olivia Attwood branded ‘best thing to happen to Towie’ as she makes explosive debut

Olivia Attwood’s debut appearance in Towie did not disappoint viewers last night as she brought the episode to a close with an explosive argument.

The ex-Love Island star, who’s dramatic outburst was teased ahead of her arrival last week, went head-to-head with Chloe Meadows after being left unimpressed by Shelby Tribble’s behaviour with Tom McDonnell.

‘You spoke to Shelby every single day when she was in Majorca,’ Olivia raged as she came delving headfirst into the chaos.

‘Don’t wind me up. I am Shleby’s friend. What are you going f***ing on about? That you spoke to her every day.’

Friends attempted to settle the row, with Sam and Tom almost coming to blows in the process.

‘You don’t need to be the knight in shining armour,’ Tom snapped.

Despite that, Chloe and Olivia continued their feud, with Chloe defending her actions.

‘I spoke to her a lot more than you have because she’s beside herself that you weren’t her friend,’ she quipped. ‘She’s beside herself. She’s been worried about it, she’s been telling me.’

The spat ended with Olivia managing to get the last word, as she snarled: ‘Walk away Chloe in your f***king Aladdin trousers.’

Viewers were living for Olivia’s arrival and wasted no time in thanking ITV for casting her.

‘Olivia was the best thing to happen to this show  she says it as it is,’ one fan enthused as another added: ‘Olivia is exactly who #TOWIE needed.’

Reality star Olivia revealed that she’d been in talks with Towie bosses back in July after making a brief guest appearance in the last series.

‘I did a little cameo last series and it just felt really right,’ she told The Sun at the time. ‘I felt like I had a lot more to say and give and I did want to do more.’

Strictly Come Dancing hasn’t even started yet, but Jamie Laing may have risked his place in the BBC dance competition due to injury.

According to reports, the 30-year-old Made In Chelsea star fell awkwardly during rehearsals for the group dance and has since been pictured wearing a protective moon boot and hobbling on crutches.

‘It’s touch and go for Jamie and bosses are waiting to see how his results look after he gets a proper X-ray done,’ an insider said.

‘Producers are hoping he’s just landed awkwardly during the group dance and tweaked something rather than it being a more serious injury.’

The source continued to The Sun: ‘They’ll know if his Strictly journey is over before it’s even really begun in the next 24 hours or so.’

Jamie might have risked his place in the series (Picture: Rex Features)

Metro.co.uk has contacted Jamie’s reps for comment.

It is believed that Jamie pulled a tendon in his right foot during practice for a pre-recorded routine.

If Jamie does withdraw from Strictly, he will be the second contestant to do so because of injury.

Olympic long jumper Jade Johnson and her partner Ian Waite were forced to leave the seventh series of the show back in 2009 due after damaging her knee.

Reality star Jamie was accused of having an unfair advantage last month after it was revealed he studied dance at university.

‘There is no technique to contemporary dance,’ he insisted in an interview with The Sun.

‘You can do anything you want… I feel like if you’re given some ribbons and you roll about on the floor, everyone is going to be like, “that is contemporary.”’

Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday 7th September to BBC One.

Mickey Rourke’s Good Morning Britain interview branded a ‘car crash’ as he ‘struggles’ to answer questions

Good Morning Britain viewers have branded Mickey Rourke’s interview a ‘car crash’ after he ‘struggled’ to answer Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid’s questions.

The 66-year-old boxer and actor joined the show live from Los Angeles with one of his pet dogs to talk about life back in the spotlight, but the chat got off to a rocky start when he insisted that he wouldn’t talk about an interview he did with Piers 10 years ago.

Piers was then forced to interrupt Mickey as he slowly recalled how he became involved with the iconic 2008 film The Wrestler.

‘Mickey, we’re slightly running out of time here,’ Piers interjected. ‘Once you made The Wrestler, what was it like to be back at the top?’

‘I never ever really felt like being back at the top,’ Mickey replied. ‘I never felt like I accomplished that. My psychiatrist said to me, “You were all the way up the mountain and then you dove off head first.”

Mickey Rourke on GMB

‘When you’re out of work for a decade and things start to happen again, I never really felt like I accomplished anything much.’

Susanna then asked the actor about his most recent film Night Walk, where he played a neo-Nazi, but Mickey was confused as to which movie she was quizzing him on.

‘What movie?’ he asked, before talking about his time behind-the-scenes and calling it ‘a really good experience.’

However, Mickey was cut off again, this time with Piers calling time on the chat due to the show ending.

‘Its a powerful film Mickey,’ he said. ‘We’ve got to leave it there, unfortunately. It’s great to see you in great shape with one of your beloved dogs. It’s always a joy to interview you, please come back soon.’

Viewers were taken aback by the segment and slammed GMB for not allowing more airtime for Mickey, writing: ‘Pointless interview embarrassing.’

Another fan expressed concern for Mickey, asking: ‘Is Mickey Rourke okay? Seemed to be struggling in that interview,’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.

Strictly stars ‘not impressed’ with Craig Revel Horwood following Stacey Dooley jibe

Strictly Come Dancing’s celebrity stars are apparently not very happy with Craig Revel Horwood, after he levelled a ‘hurtful’ jibe at Stacey Dooley recently.

The judge was forced to apologise after he suggested the contestants ‘sleep with their partners’ which was directed at Stacey after she began a relationship with pro partner Kevin Clifton following their 2018 glitterball win.

Now it’s been alleged some cast members are calling for the judge to step down, wondering how he can impartially comment on the dancers following his statement.

‘The cast thinks it’s completely unprofessional and rude, given his massive pay packet and position of power,’ a source told The Sun in the wake of the comment.

‘They don’t understand how he can fairly judge now.’

It comes after his comments caused the BBC One show to halt filming for a period, according to previous reports.

Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley
Stacey and Kevin began dating after winning the show (Picture: Rex Features)

It’s said during a taping of the dance programme on Saturday night, ahead of its 7 September premiere, the 54-year-old admitted he made a ‘huge error’ in his quip and regretted the jibe.

‘I’m deeply sorry for the offence caused to Kevin and Stacey and everyone who works on the show,’ he later said, according to The Sun.

‘I recognise that what I said was hurtful, cruel and incredibly disrespectful. It was a huge error of judgment that I very much regret.’

His apology came after he was asked by host Tess Daly what this year’s contestants can emulate in Stacey and Kevin, who reportedly performed a dance as last year’s reigning champs.

Initially saying everyone should be inspired by the 32-year-old journalist, he’s said to have added: ‘Stacey was dragged up from the dance gutter… of course, if you sleep with your dance partner that helps.’

According to the sources, filming was halted and aides rushed over to Stacey, who was sitting in the audience with her family.

‘Immediately after he made the comment, “cut” was called, and chaos broke out,’ a source said.

They added: ‘Several aides rushed over to Stacey and her family to check if they were OK. They were all stunned, and Stacey’s mum obviously wasn’t OK at all.’

He was ‘more than happy’ to make an apology to Kevin and Stacey, who have formed a romantic relationship following their glitterball win.

Metro.co.uk contacted BBC and reps of Craig for comment.

Britain’s Got Talent artist Kseniya Simonova has created portraits of the show’s judges out of sand and we’re seriously impressed.

The Ukranian star, who was the first act to earn the golden buzzer on The Champions on Saturday, showed off her incredible skills where she formed Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon out of grains in just a matter of seconds, throwing in Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in for good measure too.

Sharing the mindbending footage on YouTube, Kseniya wrote: ‘Are you ready to the World’s Talent come together to crown the Champions of the Champions?

‘It starts now! And this is my sand present to all of you, my friends, my viewers, viewers of BGT Champions, judges and hosts! I love you!’

Fans were blown away by Kseniya’s expertise and showered her in compliments, writing: ‘You are always a great person! So talented!’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘Ah I tell you you’ll rock Britain in no time! Simon will have his jaw dropped, I have a feeling!’

Kseniya has a long history with Got Talent, having won the Ukranian series back in 2009 where she performed a different sand story about the effects of the Second World War on the country.

After winning the show, she competed in America’s Got Talent: The Champions earlier this year, where she finished in third place after reaching the finals.

The first episode of Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions saw Kseniya and comic daredevils Bello and Annaliese Nock make it through to the final show, with the latter from America’s Got Talent.

Meanwhile, UK acts Paul Potts, Boogie Storm, Connie Talbot, and Ashley and Sully, failed to make it through.

Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions continues Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV.

Jeremy Clarkson slams Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? contestant for ‘biggest waste of lifeline in human history’ over Meghan Markle question

Jeremy Clarkson on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Don’t talk to Jeremy Clarkson about fashion (Picture: ITV)

Jeremy Clarkson stressed he has absolutely no time for Meghan Markle’s fashion taste during Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? last night, to the detriment of player Sean.

The Grand Tour host is now his very own lifeline in the revamped version of Chris Tarrant’s 90s quiz show with contestants able to turn to the 59-year-old for help with an answer.

However, on Saturday night the petrol head came under fire for failing to correctly answer which year the last ever Concorde made its final journey – despite being one of the passengers on this historic flight – and last night he couldn’t have given less of a monkeys when confronted with the designer behind Megs’ wedding dress.

With £32,000 staring at him right in the face, Sean was asked: ‘In 2017, Clare Waight Keller became the first female artistic director of which fashion house?’ with Givenchy, Prada, Versace or Armani popping up as his four possible answers.

Not one to mince his words, Jeremy tore into Sean for ‘the biggest waste of a lifeline in human history’.

‘Don’t know and I don’t care,’ he moaned, reminding Sean that while Jeremy’s known for many things, his fashion taste isn’t among them.

Although, with Claire becoming one of the most talked-about designers in the world thanks to a little known white number she created for some actress who used to be in Suits, he could have at least got this one.

Regardless, Sean chose to take his £32,000 where he can buy as many Claire Waight Keller as he wants. Well, he can get a few.

And for anyone who doesn’t know which fashion house Claire became the first artistic director for, it’s Givenchy.

Piers Morgan slams Meghan Markle for private jets and reckons she should fly off to see estranged dad Thomas

Piers Morgan wasted no time in raging at Meghan Markle and the royal family as he returned to Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid.

The no-nonsense presenter called out the Duke and Duchess for their use of private jets despite campaigning for climate change as well as commenting on Meghan’s relationship with her estranged father, Thomas.

Joined by royal correspondent Robert Jobson and journalist Angela Levin, Piers began: ‘While we were away there was this whole hypocrisy issue of “we want to save the planet, every footprint counts” and it turns out their footprints are on endless private jets.

‘Secondly, there’s this new interview with Meghan’s father, apparently she’s now washed her hands of him completely. He’s never met the baby, he’s never met Harry,’ he continued.

‘On the first point, this attempt by them to be “woke” royals, playing the political card about big issues, it’s not going to fly is it because the royal lifestyle by definition should render itself hypocritical to all that stuff.

Piers Morgan
Piers ranted about Meghan Markle as he returned to GMB (Picture: Rex)

‘I have no problem with them having private jets, but I’m not telling everyone to watch their every footprint.’

‘I think they made a mistake when they started lecturing people on climate change, which is very emotive and then jumping on a private jet all over the summer,’ Robert chimed.

Piers then started ranting about Meghan’s relationship with her estranged father Thomas, and continued: ‘This thing with the father seems such a running sore and sadness to me.

‘The idea that the guy who helped bring her up is now no longer a part of her life… Harry’s never even bothered to meet him.’

He continued: ‘I would be more sympathetic to Meghan Markle if I hadn’t also had the experience… I fear she has this thing in her when she chops anyone when they become potentially a bit of a problem.

‘They didn’t even go and see him when he had a heart attack.

‘I still think they should get on one of their private jets, maybe borrow Elton John’s, and go out and see the poor guy.

‘He’s living on his own out there, doesn’t know what’s hit him, he no longer speaks to his daughter, hasn’t met his grandchild.’

Glad you’ve got that off your chest, Piers?

Amanda Holden defends Paul Potts elimination from Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions after fans are outraged

Amanda Holden has defended the shock elimination of Paul Potts from Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions after the show’s first-ever winner sensationally missed out on a place in the upcoming grand finale.

On Saturday night, the first episode of the All-Star series saw a collective of ‘superfans’ vote for their top performance of the night, which saw the likes of Ashleigh Butler and her pooch Sully, child star Connie Talbot, and Simon Cowell’s favourites Boogie Storm return to the BGT stage, competing against some of the most notorious Got Talent acts from across the world.

In the end, no Britain’s Got Talent star was worthy of a place in the final, but it was Paul’s absence from the top three which was the biggest upset of the night.

Speaking from her Heart FM radio show this morning, Amanda admitted she was ‘stunned’ by the result too, but argued you can’t argue with the vote.

‘He is our first ever Britain’s Got Talent champion, he is an absolute trooper, a gorgeous man, very talented,’ she told her co-host Jamie Theakston.

‘But then you can never argue with people who are voting… if I say I thought it was terrible [the decision], I’m thinking that I’m obviously denying [them their voice].

Paul Potts says he only has himself to blame for his Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions performance (Picture: ITV)

‘There are 250 people in the audience that have the opportunity to vote, there are 10,000 actually watching the show at Wembley, but 250 people producers picked to represent the public.

‘He had nothing to be disappointed about – he was absolutely brilliant, he brought the house down and I’m stunned he didn’t go through.’

Paul has since revealed he blamed himself for a ‘shaky’ performance on Saturday night.

‘I self-analyse after every performance and I can pick out every error,’ he tweeted after the episode aired.

‘My job is to do everything I can to avoid slipping up due to these things including technical issues.’

He continued: ‘Thank you to everyone for your wishes. I hope you enjoyed my performance of the Godfather/Parla Piu piano.

‘I appreciate the start that BGT gave me and so I was happy to return to the show and will be happy to do so again.’

Yesterday’s show saw Kseniya Simonova become the first act on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions to earn the coveted Golden Buzzer, with comic daredevils Bello and Annaliese Nock also making it through to the finals.

Andrew Scott willing to return for Fleabag series 3 no matter how long Phoebe Waller-Bridge wants to wait

Does this picture break anyone else’s heart a tiny bit? (Picture: David Fisher/BAFTA/REX)

Ever since the end of the second series of Fleabag, we’ve been desperate to find out what happened next for Fleabag and the Hot Priest.

And while Phoebe Waller-Bridge has admitted that she has no plans of reprising the role before she turns 50, Andrew Scott has revealed that he’ll gladly come back to the show, no matter how long the wait is.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the thought of rejoining the show in over a decade, the 42-year-old actor joked: ‘Oh, I’ll probably be dead.’

However, he continued: ‘But if I’m still alive, yeah. Listen, I’ll be there, whatever she wants me to do.’

Andrew, who rose to fame playing villain Moriarty opposite Benedict Cumberbatch’s detective in Sherlock, is adamant that – as sad as it may make us – the decision to end Fleabag for the foreseeable future was the right one.

‘I love the fact that that story was completely self-contained and beautiful,’ he said.

‘I think sometimes when something is a success, you just want to elongate it for the wrong reasons.’

Andrew Scott as the Priest in Fleabag
We miss the Hot Priest every day (Picture: BBC)

‘With Phoebe, the thing that’s amazing about her is that she’s so instinctive about it. I really admire that something’s been a huge success, and she goes: “No, no, no, this is what I’m going to do next year.”’

In fact, Phoebe recently revealed that we were actually lucky to get a second series at all!.

The actress and writer, who is currently reprising the original stage show in the West End for the final time, told Jimmy Fallon that a second instalment was never originally on the cards and it took a very special idea to make her come back.

‘The first season had a proper ending in my mind and it was based on a play and it was adapted to the same ending,’ she told Jimmy,

‘Fleabag talks to the camera a lot in the first season and by the end she stops talking to the camera. I thought, “unless I can re-invent a reason for why she talks to the camera again, I can’t see how I can justify coming back.”’

Luckily for us, that justification was Andrew Scott and his loveable Hot Priest who joined Fleabag in breaking the fourth wall.

‘When I came up with the trick of another character seeing that she looks to the camera, that’s when the whole thing cracked open again,’ Phoebe proudly explained.

This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofiled pledge donation for man’s £15k loose skin surgery

This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will donate money to help a man get surgery to remove his loose skin.

The presenters were moved by Darren ‘Dibsy’ McClintock and his weight loss journey, which has seen him shed an impressive 18-stone since he began his drastic lifestyle change last October.

Dibsy managed to shift the weight by cutting out takeaways and training three times a day with the help of his personal trainer, but sadly has been left with excess skin which has taken a knock to his confidence.

‘It’s starting to take an effect now on my training and my day-to-day life,’ Dibsy said. ‘I can’t get away from it.’

Initially, Dibsy was offered treatment on the NHS for the procedure as well as a gastric bypass. However, this was taken away from him when he refused to have the bypass and lose the weight naturally.

‘They said the funding wouldn’t be available for me,’ he continued before it was revealed that the cost of the surgery comes in at around £15,000.

‘You need to set up a crowdfunding page,’ Phil suggested. ‘There must be a way you can organise this.’

He continued: ‘If you set up a site, the show will put money in and Holly and I will put money in and we’ll kickstart you off towards that.

‘You’ve worked so incredibly hard.  I know what this excess skin is doing, it’s affecting your confidence.’

Viewers agreed that they’d also chip in for Dibsy’s procedure, writing on Twitter: Well done Dibsy!! And what a trainer that guy is amazing!! Set up the funding page I will gladly donate.’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘What an inspiration you are Dibsy, goes to show commitment, motivation and determination can be life-saving.

‘Get this crowdfunding sorted, you’ve worked hard to get this far and deserve to have this surgery to further improve your health and well-being.’

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.

Shirley Ballas has promised that we won’t be able to predict who this year’s celebrity intake will be paired with ahead of the series launch on Saturday.

The 58-year-old judge, who’ll be joined on the panel by Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli, explained to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning that she was stunned by who was matched with who.

‘Let me tell you,’ Shirley began, ‘it’s the most unpredictable set of pairings I’ve ever seen on any show, particularly this one, in 15 years.’

‘Even I was sat there with Motsi and I thought this one will go with that one and it went this way,’ she continued as she gestured with her hands.

‘It’s unpredictable and I’ve got a funny feeling that’s how the whole of this series is going to be.’

Shirley added that she once judged Motsi during her dance career and can’t wait to work alongside her on Strictly.

‘She’s beautiful on the inside as well as the outside and she knows her trade inside and out,’ she enthused.

‘We have the same sense of humour so we’re on the same page. It just gels, it just clicks, it just works, it’s beautiful.’

Shirley is currently dating toyboy boyfriend Danny Taylor, who she previously admitted she’d marry ‘tomorrow’.

‘Will being so loved up soften you up?’ asked Phil.

‘I’m lost for words,’ Shirley replied. ‘I will keep it professional. I will be doing my job well, as will everyone on the panel. Everyone will bring something unique and special.

‘We’re very, very excited about this series. The launch show is spectacular.’
