The Dancing On Ice star – who shares two children with wife Briony – has revealed his heartache after the seven-month-old was hospitalised for six days, and struggled to breathe.
During an appearance on Loose Women, the 47-year-old explained that he was about to perform a magic act when he got a phone call every parent dreads.
‘I was about to go on stage, I got a phone call from my wife, Briony, saying she had called an ambulance. I was like, “Right, I’m coming home”.
‘They took one look at her, with her mottled skin and 103-degree temperature. She was struggling to breathe, her hands and feet were turning blue.
‘They said, “We’ve got to go”. They didn’t mess about.’

Praising the doctors, he continued: ‘They gave her amazing attention.
‘Within two hours they got her stable, it was a long two hours. We were very, very, very lucky. We were one of the lucky ones and got her there [to hospital] quickly.
‘She’s great now, she’s 100 percent.’

Sepsis, also known as blood poisoning, occurs when the body attacks its own tissues and organs, as a reaction to an infection.
It can initially look like the flu or a chest infection, with symptoms including fast breathing, fits or convulsions, and a rash that doesn’t fade when you press it.
Ben spoke out about Delilah’s health issues last week, in a bid to raise awareness over the condition, as well as the symptoms.
‘It was terrifying. She was hooked up to tubes and put on a drip which is something no parent ever wants to see. The whole thing was a huge shock,’ he told the Sun.
Ben’s daughter Delilah has made a full recovery (Picture: Instagram)
‘Luckily, Delilah responded really well to the treatment and she’s now been given the all-clear. We couldn’t be more relieved.’
But he revealed they could have had a different outcome if Briony hadn’t called for help so quickly.
‘The doctors said if we had called the ambulance just half an hour later, it could have been a completely different story,’ he continued.
‘Delilah only responded so well because we called 999 so quickly.’ Ben returned to the competition last Sunday, after his youngest child was released from the hospital.
Loose Women airs on weekdays, at 12.30, on ITV.

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed something about Sheldon’s spot (Picture: CBS)
Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) is well known on The Big Bang Theory for ‘his spot’ – after all, no one sits in Sheldon’s spot.
NO ONE!
But fans have noticed an error to do with said ‘spot’ and questioned – why doesn’t he sit in the same place in the canteen at work?
For those of you that aren’t aware, the physicist has a particular cushion on the sofa in his apartment that only he can sit on, and if anyone else made the mistake of sitting there, well, prepare to feel the wrath of Sheldon.
One eagle-eyed fan took to Reddit to point out that he has a spot at home, at Penny’s apartment and even in prison in season three.
But he doesn’t in his work canteen… which is pretty peculiar.
That’s my spot, actually it’s Sheldon’s (Picture: CBS)
Sheldon doesn’t seem to sit in the same spot (Picture: CBS)
The post read: ‘I was just wondering because he has a spot at home, he was looking for his spot at Penny’s the whole time he was at her apartment in the 17th episode of the 1st season, he had a spot in prison in the 16th episode of the 3rd season…
‘Why do you think this is?’
And I think it’s safe to say, the query has left viewers stumped as one responded: ‘I’ve been rewatching lately and in the first couple of series at least they tend to sit in different places. I think later on they always sat in the same place.’
Although some did have their own theories behind it.
Another added: ‘I don’t think he has a spot at tables. His spot is usually chosen based on what the room is for. In the Apartment, it’s based on being comfortable and being able to see everyone and the TV.
‘In the theater, it was for acoustics. At a lunch table, all 4 spots have an equal amount of seating room, equal amount of table space, and equal angle with which to view the other 3 people at the table.’
A third said: ‘The most likely explanation is it wasn’t thought of by the writers.
‘Personally, I like to believe that in restaurants / Cafeteria, Sheldon realised that he cannot have a single reserved spot, and had to come to terms with this & to compensate he became very strict with the spots he can reserve. But that’s just what I like to think.’
The Big Bang Theory is available to stream on Netflix.

Susan Boyle opened up about her sex life on Loose Women (Picture: ITV)
Susan Boyle opened up about her sex life, admitting her mysterious doctor date ‘rubbed her up the right way’.
The 58-year-old – who first came to fame all the way back in 2008, when her Britain’s Got Talent audition went viral – revealed her last date was around six years ago, when she went ‘missing’ with a doctor.
Joining the Loose Women panel for the very first time – to celebrate Valentine’s Day – the I Dreamed A Dream singer said: ‘I came back with a smile on my face.
‘Let’s just say he rubbed me up the right way.’
She also refused to be drawn on her love life, simply hitting back ‘not saying’ when asked if she had anyone special in her life.
But there was one name Susan was more than happy to drop – Piers Morgan.

The Good Morning Britain presenter was present for her very first BGT audition, alongside Simon Cowell, and it looks like he left a lasting impression on her.
When asked if she had a crush on Piers, she joked: ‘A crush?! I’ve got a smash!
‘I call him Piersy baby!’
Over to you, Piersy baby…

Susan recently lifted the lid on her love life, discussing what went down on her only date in a while.
And that evening out didn’t quite end well – as her team thought she had been kidnapped.
Not ideal.
When asked if she goes on dates, the star confessed: ‘You mean go with fellas? No, youngsters may be able to do it, but I haven’t got the time. It is still nice to be asked though.

‘I had a date in America six years ago, which lasted exactly 45 minutes.
‘I went for a massage in the spa of a hotel and met a doctor and then we went out for lunch. I didn’t tell anyone and my team thought I’d been kidnapped.’
‘They were really panicking because I had a show that night’, she continued. ‘The guy was nice, but he wasn’t for me.
‘I couldn’t be dealing with keeping up with the correspondence.’
Fair play, who needs correspondence when you’re a world-renowned singer who counts actual Simon Cowell among your biggest fans.

The first trailer for Stranger Things season 4 has arrived and confirms Jim Hopper is alive and he’s ‘The American’.
While fans thought we’d be waiting until the next series premiere, Stranger Things dropped the bombshell as a Valentine’s Day treat and what a treat it was.
The clip zooms in on the elusive prison which has been harbouring a figure only known to us as ‘the American’.
The prisoners are labouring in frozen snowy fields of Russia and, eventually, we learn Hopper is among them.
‘We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway – and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper!’ Stranger Things showrunners, The Matt and Ross Duffer, enthused.
‘Although it’s not all good news for our “American”; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything….’

Season four is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime — pray for the American.
David Harbour and the Stranger Things cast have been playing with us all, teasing they have no idea if Hopper was returning after he was pulverised sacrificing himself to save Hawkins from The Upside Down.
‘We don’t know yet, we don’t know,’ Dave told fans at a German Comic-con.
We can stop speculating about Hopper now (Picture: Netflix)
They won’t tell me anything, so we’ll have to see. I think you’ll find out at some point, we’ll find out at some point. Let’s hope he’s alive.’
Stranger Things 4 is expected to drop on Netflix in 2021.

Steve Coogan has revealed he sang the Irish rebel song Come Out Ye Black And Tans on This Time With Alan Partridge as part of a ‘private bet’.
Last year, an episode of the BBC One comedy went viral when Coogan, playing Irish farmer and Alan Partridge lookalike Martin Brennan, sang a medley of When You Were Sweet Sixteen and the Irish rebel songs Come Out Ye Black And Tans and The Men Behind The Wire.
After the performance, Partridge says: ‘Oh my god. That was like an advert for the IRA.’
And Coogan, 54, has admitted they slipped in the songs ‘for the mischief’.
Speaking to RTE Entertainment, the actor said: ‘As someone who is half-Irish, I was hoping that my fellow Irishmen would appreciate it and they did.
‘It was kinda like a little in-joke, a private bet – I wonder could we get, just for the mischief, an Irish rebel song on primetime BBC One and we managed to do that. In fact, we got two Irish rebel songs in.’
The moment went viral (Picture: BBC)
Steve – who is from Lancashire, but whose mother was born in County Mayo and whose dad was of Irish descent – added that there was no push back from the BBC.
The Greed star explained that even aside from his own amusement, the skit worked because ‘Alan Partridge plays a member of the establishment who is appalled by it and that’s where the comedy comes from so artistically it’s entirely justifiable but it also makes me have a private chuckle’.
The rebel song, recorded by The Wolfe Tones, hit number one on the UK iTunes chart after plans to commemorate the Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) were shelved by the Irish government.
Steve is half-Irish (Picture: Jeff Spicer/Getty Images)
The song, which refers to the Black and Tans, the British paramilitary police auxiliary force of the RIC, notorious for police brutality and attacks on civilians, also hit number one on the Irish streaming and downloads charts.
The Wolfe Tones pledged all proceeds from the song to a homelessness charity as they reacted to the Dominic Behan song, which they recorded in 1972, rising to number one in both the UK and Ireland.
Come Out Ye Black And Tans references the history of Irish nationalism, the 1916 Easter Rising and the British Army, and links Irish struggles to those around the world, while it is specifically written about a dispute between Irish republicans and loyalists in 1920s Dublin.
The lyrics include: ‘Come out ye Black and Tans, come out and fight me like a man/ Show your wife how you won medals down in Flanders/ Tell them how the IRA made you run like hell away/ From the green and lovely lanes of Killashandra.’
The song recently caused controversy when Sinn Féin’s Dessie Ellis joined supporters during a count in Ireland’s general election who were singing the rebel tune.

Jeremy Vine tried to compose himself during Friday’s show after a viewer called him the C-word live on air.
During the Valentine’s Day phone-in, the Channel 5 host spoke to one viewer who referred himself as Tim from Lancashire as they discussed whether it was ok to send a Valentine’s Day text to your beloved.
The conversation started out relatively normal as Tim revealed that he hadn’t brought his wife a card once during their 28-year marriage.
‘We’ve been married 28 years and never bought into Valentine’s Day cards,’ he said.
However, he then unexpectedly dropped the C-bomb as he added: ‘And you’re a c***.’
The host quickly apologised (Picture: Channel 5)
Jeremy looked stunned by the comment (Picture: Channel 5)
Jeremy remained his ever-so professional self as he quickly apologised to viewers for the swear word.
He exclaimed: ‘I must apologise for the language. By the way, as he started talking, I thought, “This guy’s not for real”.
‘Really sorry for that. We do everything we possibly can to avoid any bad language on the programme.’
He continued: ‘We know it offends some viewers. It’s darn right rude to everyone when a caller can’t control their language.’
Viewers also took to social media to share their shock at the comment.
One tweeted: ‘#IsItOk to call Jeremy Vine a c&*t on live morning TV?’
Another exclaimed: ‘Caller just dropped the ‘c’ bomb on Jeremy Vine show.’
While a third wanted to name and shame him, they added: ‘Come on someone knows, name and shame him.’
The Jeremy Vine Show airs weekdays at 9.15am on Channel 5.

Fans were left on a cliffhanger, after being introduced to The American during the last installment of the show.
And while they’ve been guessing who the newcomer might be, their minds have now been put at ease as the teaser revealed he is in fact, Jim.
But how has he arrived at the prison? And what happened when he seemingly died after getting too close to an Upside Down portal.
Here are all the fan theories that might well point us in the direction to some answers.
Hopper travelled through time and space at the end of season three
Hopper is alive! (Picture: Netflix)
While we now know that the explosion during The Battle of Starcourt Mall didn’t actually kill Hopper, it’s possible it could have transported him through time.
The theory links back right to the beginning of Stranger Things, when Mr Clarke explains to the boys how they could (theoretically) rescue Will from the Upside Down.
The show uses the analogy of an acrobat, a tightrope and a flea: Mr Clarke says that our own dimension is a tightrope.
An acrobat can only travel forwards and backwards on the tightrope, he can’t go anywhere else because gravity holds him down.
But a flea (aka Will, who travelled to the Upside Down) can use the same tightrope in a different way. It can travel up and down, it can basically travel between dimensions.
So is Hopper like the flea? And has he travelled somewhere else?
David Harbour’s very own theory
David Harbour has given his own thoughts on how Hopper survived (Picture: Getty)
David Harbour, who plays Hopper in the show, has his very own theory about how the character might come back.
When chatting to the LA Times the 44-year-old suggested: ‘Because of this newfound relationship with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), he needs to shed his skin, make a sacrifice that allows his character to re-emerge.
‘He was finally able to really take a bullet for a child, which he had never been able to do because Sara died of cancer. I think there’s a perfection to it.
‘Now whether or not there’s some sort of second-act resurrection would be very interesting to me, clearly, for obvious reasons -the fact that I desperately love the show and desperately love the character… but that remains to be seen.
‘He would certainly have to emerge a different individual.’
You heard it from the man himself – we know what we’ll be placing bets on!
Hopper will be rescued by a new Russian character called B
Will Hopper be saved by someone we haven’t met yet? (Picture: Netflix)
One theory, which found its way onto Reddit, suggests we haven’t even met Hopper’s saviour yet.
A user shared: ‘A 10-year-old Russian boy starting with B will be introduced.
‘He’ll have some mind-related superpower like El, and his number will be, or should be, 013, He’s the person who, following the orders of the evil Russian superiors and the instructions of Dr. Brenner — the American prisoner, opened the gate in Russia.’
They added: ‘He’ll be like the new Alexei, a sweet, innocent guy who wins the hearts of all the viewers.
‘In the last episode when El, and all the other numbers she’s gathered such as 007, 009, 010, and 012 (not Kali because she’s sort of useless in battle), come together and travel to the Upside Down to rescue Hop, the Russian boy will work close alongside El in battle, and will make the ultimate sacrifice to kill the Mind Flayer and save everyone.’
Followers of the thread asked how they managed to come up with the name B: ‘Every season someone starting with B died — Benny, Barb, Bob, Billy. He’ll be the B of season 4.’
Harbour did say the character would have to ’emerge as a different individual,’ right?
The Duffer Brothers’ Star Wars analogy
Even the Duffer Brothers have teased how he might comeback (Picture: Getty Images)
Showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have teased they always planned to give Hopper his ‘Han Solo sacrifice moment’, when Han Solo turned out to be alive – just about – and was being held prisoner by Jabba the Hut after giving himself up in The Empire Strikes Back.
‘We always talk about Empire Strikes Back, we always wanted to give him a darker ending, we always wanted to give him a Han Solo sacrifice moment,’ Matt told Entertainment Weekly.
‘It was emotional to shoot but it was really, really quick. David never asked for music but I think we did play some emotional music when we shot David’s final look at Winona [Ryder].’
Ross added: ‘There’s a tragedy there but there’s also a little bit of “it’s okay” to Joyce. There’s so much going on in his eyes and you can only script that so much.’
So will he come back like the captain of the Millennium Falcon, after being held prisoner by the Russians (aka Jabba the Hut)?
We have a while yet until we find out as Stranger Things 4 is expected to drop on Netflix in 2021.

People are getting really mad over a South Park tweet (Picture: Comedy Central)
South Park fans have been left raging after a viral tweet called the show out on its ‘cultural damage’.
Over the years, the cartoon has stirred up drama with a number of controversial episodes, including Proper Condom Use, Band in China, and Trapped In The Closet – to name a few.
And now, She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz has expressed her outrage at the comedy on social media.
In a string of messages on Twitter, she fumed: ‘In retrospect, it seems impossible to overstate the cultural damage done by SOUTH PARK, the show that portrayed earnestness as the only sin and taught that mockery is the ultimate inoculation against all criticism.
‘Smugness is not the same as intelligence; provocation isn’t the same as bravery. The lesser of two evils aren’t the same.’
She-Hulk writer Dana Schwartz has expressed her outrage at South Park (Picture: Comedy Central)
Dana then shared the creators’ apology for their episode ManBearPig, and added: ‘It seems lie South Park has been trying to reckon with this—I admit I haven’t been watching the show in recent seasons, but I’m fascinated to see this…’
Closing off her rant, she wrote: ‘To be clear, I don’t blame the show itself as much as I do the generation of boys who internalised it into their personalities. Which maybe isn’t the show’s fault!’
Since then, fans of the show have flocked to her socials where they defiantly defended the Comedy Central hit.
‘It’s a damn cartoon, nobody sane would think behaving like Cartman is appropriate but in context of the absurdity of the show, it’s hilarious. Comedy is about pushing boundaries, turn it off if you don’t like it,’ one wrote.
‘Probably the most culturally impactful show mankind has created. South Park impartially mocks the insanity of the left and rigidity of the right,’ another added: ‘Recently the left has obviously provided them a bountiful cornucopia, but the purpose of satire is to bring absurdity to light.’
Others quizzed: ‘You realize they are mocking the bad things in culture, not embracing them, right?’
While some explained: ‘Cartman was never just a running joke. He was also the grand deliverer of truth bombs. I have to wonder if you ever understood him in the first place…’
Metro.co.uk has reached out to Comedy Central for further comment.

Jack Fincham wants to take Shaughna Phillips out on a pub date (Picture: Rex)
Jack Fincham’s keen to take Shaughna Phillips out for a date at his local pub and we reckon it’s the perfect Love Island pairing.
Everyone’s favourite pen salesman told Metro.co.uk he thinks Shaughna’s a ‘really nice girl’ and wants to get to know her.
The 28-year-old – who recently became a dad – thinks they’d have a whale of a time because they’ve got lots of mutual friends and are from the same area.
There’s just much common ground (literally)!
‘She seems like a really nice girl,’ Jack admitted.
‘Do you know why I like her? Because she’s from the same kind of area as me.’
He said she seems like a ‘really nice girl’ (Picture: Rex)
He went on: ‘And I know we’ve got some mutual friends as well so I thought, “aw”.
‘Someone messaged me on Instagram and said, “you know so and so”, and obviously she knows them as well.’
Setting out his plans to woo her, the former Love Island winner added: ‘I want to take her to my local pub, it’s a nice pub.’
Listen, we don’t want to forward plan too much, but if Jack and Shaughna do go on a date, she’ll defs have to be on board with the whole new dad thing.
Jack revealed he’s taken to fatherhood ‘like a duck to water’ and is a ‘co-parenting king’ with Blossom’s mum, close friend Casey Ranger.
The reality star, who chatted to Metro.co.uk on behalf of The Racing Post, said: ‘[Fatherhood] is brilliant, I love it. I’ve taken to it pretty well.
‘I’ve taken to it like a duck to water,’ he added, joking: ‘Co-parenting kings are us.’
She recently admitted to having feelings for Luke M (Picture: ITV)
Discussing how they’ll share parenting duties as Blossom gets older, Jack added: ‘I hope there’ll be a system when she’s a bit older – not at the moment because she’s so young.
‘It’s working itself out. Blossom’s still so young, she’s only three weeks old. I go round there, I give her a bottle.’
He added that he really doesn’t mind getting stuck in and changing nappies.
‘This is the thing – I thought I was going to hate it. I was like “I’m not doing it,”‘ the reality star admitted.
‘But you don’t mind when it’s your child. I’m not bothered at all.’

The first look at Stranger Things season four has arrived as Netflix dropped a trailer which not only confirms Jim Hopper is alive, but that he’s ‘The American’ too.
But it’s not all good news, as Hopper’s been imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.
Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything….
Season four of Stranger Things is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening one yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more.
In the meantime, here’s everything we know about the upcoming chapter.
Stranger Things 4 will be longer than the previous season
‘We’ve been informed that, though the original plan was to make season four the last, they’ve now decided to just extend the plot across an additional run,’ sources told We Got This Covered.
‘The second part, we’re told, may be marketed as season five, but it’ll essentially be the second half of season four as it will continue the same storyline.’
Production for Stranger Things 4 is already underway
According to Netflix Life, the cast and crew have reportedly begun production in the Batlic region of Europe before returning to the US for more filming in early March.
In a fan Q&A on her Instagram account, the young star was asked when she was starting to shoot the series.
And even though she held her cards close to her chest, the 15-year-old told her 31.4million followers: ‘Soon! Early this year for sure and v excited ab it [sic].’

More Stranger Things characters incoming (Picture: Netflix)
From launching their own plotlines thanks to questions that lingered from the season three finale, to picking up on tiny bits that could have a more significant meaning than we could’ve dreamed, no stone has been left unturned.
Some theories include Eleven turning evil after being separated from Hopper, who’s now in Russia unbeknownst to the rest of the gang.
Another suggests that Will subconsciously created the Upside Down
How? Well, the kid is certainly a creative one who’s used to creating his own world, and if he was experimented on as a baby, there’s a chance he got powers like Eleven.
But instead of telepathy, he can bring his imagination to life – and in doing so created the Upside Down.
This would explain why he wasn’t killed by the Demogorgon like others that crossed it, why he was targeted in the first place, and why it seems to reappear at times he’s under stress.
Yep, the theories are really flying off the handle – and we’re here for them.
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.

The clip zooms into the icy field of Russia with Hopper among dozens of prisoners at work building a railway track using old school hammers and nail with armed guards watching their every move.
But Maya, who stars as Robin in the trippy sci-fi epic, has the same question as the rest of us: ‘Is that even how you build a train track? ?’
She has a point.
Sharing their excitement, showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer warned we’re about to endure the ‘most frightening’ season yet.

The Masked Singer will unveil its first UK winner tomorrow night and as it stands the title is Queen Bee’s – aka Nicola Roberts – for the taking.
It’s been a trippy few weeks on ITV with the likes of Chameleon, (Justin Hawkins), Duck (Skin), and Daisy (Kelis) all being booted out of the competition because absolutely nothing is going to get in this slightly terrifying bumble bee’s way.
But the competition’s not over yet. Queen Bee will take on Hedgehog and Octopus in the grand finale and right now we couldn’t bet on the identities of either the eight-legged mollusc or her prickly rival.
Who is favourite to win The Masked Singer?
Despite finding herself in the bottom two alongside Monster last week, Queen Bee is still the favourite to win according to bookmakers.
Betway’s Chad Yeomans explained: ‘The Masked Singer final takes place this weekend and, after the UK’s longest-running game of Guess Who?, a celebrity songbird will be crowned on Saturday night.
‘Queen Bee is the odds-on favourite at 1/6 to take home the first-ever UK trophy. Having wowed the judges with her performances week on week, the black and yellow belter could be buzzing straight for the coveted title.

It’s one of the first looks at season 4 of the hit Netflix show.
Season 3 of Stranger Things ended on a cliffhanger, but producers clearly weren’t keen on leaving their fans in the dark for long.
And this means there are *SPOILERS AHEAD* if you haven’t watched the end of season 3.
The teaser shows a snow-covered landscape, in the midst of which prisoners build a railway while watched over by armed guards.
The soldiers’ uniforms and the music the trailer is set to suggest we are looking at action set in Russia – which makes sense seeing as the main cast came up against the Russians as well as the Mind Flayer in season 3.
As the camera zooms in on the prisoners who are building the railway, one, in particular, turns around and removes his hat – only to be revealed as none other Jim Hopper (David Harbour), minus his moustache and head hair.
If you’re familiar with the end of Stranger Things season 3, then this will be as exciting for you as it was for us watching.
What happened at the end of Stranger Things season 3?
Stranger Things season 3 saw the main characters adjusting to life after the dramatic finale of season 2 where Eleven closed the portal to the Upside Down and Bob Newby (played by none other than Sean Astin) was lost fighting the good fight.
While Joyce (Winona Ryder) mourned Bob and Hawkins adjusted to the arrival of the brand new Starcourt Mall, the Russians were secretly trying to re-open the portal to the Upside Down and the Mind Flayer was back and growing ever stronger by the day.
In the finale of Stranger Things season 3, Hopper, Joyce, and Murray (Brett Gelman) descend into the secret Russian lab underneath the Mall to turn off the machine attempting to re-open the portal, while Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the kids fought the Mind Flayer in an epic showdown above.
The machine shut-down didn’t go quite as planned, ending in Hopper sacrificing himself by telling Joyce to trigger the shutdown – even though it meant he would be disintegrated along with everything else in the gate room.
We always secretly hoped Hopper survived the blast – even though we have no idea how. (Picture: Netflix)
With Eleven and the gang saved but Hopper gone, Joyce made the decision once and for all to leave Hawkins, moving out of town at the end of the episode with Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Will (Noah Schnapp) and a devastated Eleven in tow.
As the credits rolled, a bonus finale scene aired, set in Kamchatka, Russia. It showed prison guards being instructed to feed a prisoner to their captive Demogorgon, but being strictly told ‘not the American’.
Confirming that production of the brand new series is well underway, Netflix said: ‘We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway – and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper!
‘Although it’s not all good news for our “American”; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.’
‘Meanwhile, back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything….’
While most of the couples are solid, a major curveball was thrown last night when audiences saw Shaughna Phillips made a play for Luke Mabbott, who had started to strike up a romance with Demi Jones after he’d been pied for Natalia Zoppa.
All the power is ultimately in Luke M and new boy Jamie Clayton’s hands as they have the power to decide which single girl – Shaughna, Demi, or Natalia – they want to couple up with ahead of the final week.
We’d be lying if we said we weren’t worried for Shaughna.
One of the girls will be leaving the villa tonight (Picture: ITV)
Spoilers have revealed that Jamie decides to choose the girl with whom ‘the banter is on the exact same level’.
Meanwhile, Luke M admits of his chosen girl: ‘When we do talk, it’s easy, the conversations flows and she never fails to make me laugh, I feel like she hasn’t had the best luck in the villa, but I do feel that is going to change.’
Get the popcorn ready lads!
Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Luke Trotman asks Siannise Fudge to be his girlfriend. It is Valentine’s Day after all.
Luke T enlists the boys to create a princess crown and a sort of treasure hunt for Siânnise, 25, to undertake, while the girls are tasked with keeping her busy with a pampering session.
Siânnise is then told by Luke Mabboot that she must solve all the clues on her quest to find her prince – and if she succeeds, Luke has a big question to ask.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.

The 55-year-old was blasted online after she stated in a segment on her show that gay men should ‘stop wearing our skirts and our heels.’
Now, Wendy has posted a video to her Twitter account, in which she apolgoises for her comments and any offence she may have caused.
‘I’ll start by saying I apologise. I did not mean to offend my LGBTQ+ community on yesterday’s show,’ she stated.
‘I understand my platform with the community from first grade to intermediate school to high school to college to radio and now to TV. I didn’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings.’
Clearly getting emotional, Wendy visibly teared up during the confessional.
‘I’m 55-years-old and maybe I sounded like you’re aunty, you’re mother, you’re big sister or somebody out of touch,’ she continued.

‘I’m not out of touch except for perhaps yesterday. I deeply apologise and deeply appreciate the support I get from the community.
‘I will do better. I appreciate you supporting me.’
The former radio shock jock had been discussing the concept of Galentines Day, made popular by the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Controversy arose when she took aim at men she heard clapping in support of the celebration – which is meant to take place on 13 February with your gal pals.
Wendy said: ‘If you’re a man and you’re clapping, you’re not even a part of this. You don’t understand the rules of the day.
‘It’s women going out and getting saucy and then going back home. You’re not a part. I don’t care if you’re gay. You don’t get a mensie every 28 days.’
She continued: ‘You can do a lot that we do, but I get offended by the idea that we go through something you will never go through. And stop wearing our skirts and our heels.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Williams’ rep for comment.

Fans are going crazy for Nick Lachey’s new dating show which has landed on Netflix just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The dating show is probably more bonkers than Married At First Sight as the couples have to get engaged without ever having met.
Hosted by Nick and his wife, Vanessa, the 10-episode series called Love Is Blind will see singletons speak to a host of anonymous potential love matches, before having to propose to the one they have the most connection with.
The unscripted dating series explored whether looks or age matter when it comes to finding a partner or whether ‘love is blind’.
Fans are already hooked on the show (Picture: Netflix)
Singles will speak to their potential suitors, but won’t get to meet until they have proposed when they will finally get to clap eyes on their new fiancé or fiancée.

Iâm not sure why I thought #LoveIsBlind wouldnât be mad. Itâs only episode 1 and already one couple have said I love you and the guy is ready to propose. The ye is different
Another said: ‘A pair have already fallen in love in 5 days & they haven’t met yet, what is happening in this show
A third added: ‘I can’t believe this show!’
Looks like we’ve found our next fix.

In behind-the-scenes snaps shown ahead of Saturday night’s episode, Pasha can be seen to drop by on a training session for one of the Oti’s acts.
If you’re going to get dancing lessons from anyone, it might as well be a pro from the biggest dancing show in the country, right?
Pasha was last seen on the BBC’s flagship dance show in 2018, when he was partnered with Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
And it seems that those who dance on Strictly together stay together as Pasha was helping Latin duo Michael and Jowita ahead of the next live show.
A source revealed: ‘Pasha loved performing on The Greatest Dancer last year and jumped at the chance to join a training session with Michael and Jowita.’
Anything to help an old friend, right? The behind-the-scenes snaps see Oti and Pasha team up to teach a dance in rehearsals. If that doesn’t give you an edge in a dancing competition, we don’t know what will.

Last weekend saw the first live show air and it ended with two acts getting eliminated – which was highly emotional, of course.
And unfortunately for The Queens and Ryan, it was the end of the road as they scored the least amount of votes from the viewing public – which means that the Promise This hit maker and Drag Race star have both lost their first act of the series.
The Queens had also left the studio audience quite confused with their afternoon tea themed dance to The Darkness’ I Believe In A Thing Called Love, which received the lowest score of the night at 48.4%.
Meanwhile, dance troupe Brothers Of Dance impressed both the coaches and the studio audience with their brilliant Peaky Blinders themed dance, which gave them a score of 97.8% – the highest of the night – and it has helped them to secure a place in tomorrow night’s live show.
Two more acts are set to be eliminated, while the coaches will train their acts as they take on a new set of challenges.
The Greatest Dancer continues 15 February at 7.10pm on BBC One.

A team on The Chase managed to walk away with a whopping £21,000 today after beating the chaser Anne Hegerty.
After losing player Sapphire in the opening rounds, it was up to contestants Khurram, Jacqueline and Ashton to bring the money home in the final chase.
And after an exceptional round of quizzing, the trio managed to rack up an impressive 23 questions right, something host Bradley Walsh commented not even full teams of four have managed.
For the Governess, she seemed flustered from the start of the game and got a whopping three questions wrong in a row from the start, so it seemed that the odds were indeed in the teams favour.
Needless to say, thanks to a few push backs and a few more wrong questions on the chaser’s behalf, the trio walked away with the money, earning a £7,000 each.
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to congratulate the team on a worthy win.
‘Anne is a cert to lose when she’s flustered,’ one fan wrote. ‘[She] can’t handle the pressure.’
