One huge Star Trek fan with a lot of money has boldly gone where no man has gone before by building a replica of the USS Enterprise in China.
Liu DeJian, who is the chairman of NetDragon Websoft, created the homage as the headquarters for his Chinese gaming and mobile Internet company.
According to Mashable, he licensed the rights to build the replica from CBS and spent $160 million on the project.
The building is reportedly the only officially licensed Star Trek building in the world.
It looks relatively conventional from the ground but once you get an aerial view, you realise you’re gazing at something pretty special.
