It’s been five years since The Big Bang Theory ended and fans still haven’t stopped talking about a reunion.
We’ve been treated to prequel spin-off Young Sheldon with George & Mandy’s First Marriage on the way, but everyone really wants to know how the gang are getting on.
The original show ran from 2007 to 2019, with fans growing to love the antics Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Howard (Simon Helberg), Raj (Kunal Hayyar) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco).
Well, we could be in luck as Kaley has admitted despite having plenty of work since the show ended, she’d been delighted to reprise her most famous role in the future.
When asked about potentially reprising her role, the 38-year-old actress told People magazine: ‘I would absolutely reprise that role. 100%. I love that character, and I always will.’
Kaley admitted working on the iconic sitcom gave her some of the ‘best years’ of her life and she’ll be forever grateful to show creator Chuck Lorre.

‘I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really set off my career,’ she reflected. ‘I owe a lot to that character, to that show, to [creator] Chuck Lorre. It was some of the best years of my life, and some of the most fun I’ve ever had.’
She’s still focused on the present and future though, and she can next be seen in the second series of her Peacock show Based on a True Story.

‘I am so excited about it. We had such a great time shooting season one, and I think that we made an even better season two,’ Kaley added. ‘It’s very funny. It’s very dark … and I’m thrilled.’
While there is no word on a revival with the core cast all returning, Variety recently reported another spin-off is now in development focusing on other characters, including comic book owner Stuart Bloom.
Kevin Sussman’s alter ego was a hit with fans, going on to appear in over 80 episodes and eventually being made a series regular.

Now, it’s believed he could return for the spin-off, with actors Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus also set to appear.
Brian played geologist Bert Kibbler, who had a crush on Amy (Mayim Bialik), in 15 episodes from season six, while Lauren’s Denise was the assistant manager at the comic book store and became Stuart’s love interest.
According to reports, the three stars are under ‘talent holding deals’ for the time being, with the show still in development and yet to be officially greenlit for a full series.
