The Great British Bake Off is back for another year, and with it the cake porn, innuendos and – in Dorret’s case – unmitigated disasters.
A new batch of bakers rose to the challenge in an attempt to win this year’s series.
Judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry were back to cast their scrutinising eye over the bakes with hosts Mel and Sue chipping in with a few wink-wink-nudge-nudge lines.
