Netflix is set to bring back three of their biggest shows in 2025 – and fans can’t wait.
Netflix teased their fans on social media on January 1 as it was announced: ‘Your 3 favourite shows are coming back this year. Welcome to 2025.’
The caption accompanied an edit of Wednesday, Stranger Things, and Squid Games – all TV series that left millions of people gripped and are some of the platform’s most watched and critically acclaimed shows ever.
Squid Game season 2 was only recently released on December 26, 2024 but in a new interview with Variety, Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk shared an update for the forthcoming season’s release.
‘At this point, anything I might say is going to be a spoiler, so I want to be cautious,’ he said.
‘But what I can say is, after Season 2 launches, I believe we will be announcing the launch date for Season 3 soon. I probably expect that to launch around summer or fall next year.’
