And yet, the British public are all for the Ready Steady Cook presenter’s image replacing Adam Smith when the change is made in 2016.
A petition has been launched by Ainsley fan Jordan Harris and it has racked up over ten thousand signatures so far.
Could this finally be Ainsley’s big moment?
