Remember 2014’s crazy ice bucket challenge? It involved throwing a bucking of freezing water over your head and it was all in the name of charity.
Over £7million was raised in the UK alone for The MND Association – and now the cast of Hollyoaks are bringing the challenge back, and it’s going soap-wide.
Led by Jeremy Sheffield, whose character Patrick is suffering from motor neurone disease, the cast have pledged money to the charity after Jeremy was nominated by Ailsa, a young woman who is living with the disease and who starred in the soap to encourage Patrick to continue to live life to the fullest.
