She was axed from her role as Kirsty Branning in EastEnders two years ago, but Kierston Wareing is trying her luck at another soap – Hollyoaks.
The actress is joining the Channel 4 show as ‘venomous vixen’ Ashley, an old acquaintance of Trevor Royle (played by Greg Wood).
Kierston, 39, will pop up on screen next month when the manipulative character arrives in Chester demanding money from club owner Trevor.
Ashley is also connected to Sgt Ben Bradley (Ben Bradley) as she was hunting for his daughter Carly before her shock death.
