We’re just hours away from the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. After 80 technical rehearsals, nine full dress rehearsals, more than 90 press conferences and an official opening ceremony that made The Oscars look like a budget party, Europe is almost ready to start voting.
Eurovision is the longest running televised music competition in the world and this year, it celebrates its 60th birthday in the World Capital of Music, Vienna.
Saturday’s show features a record number of 27 finalists, including special guests Australia. Several countries have sent national and international superstars looking to impress Europe as well as parts of Asia and Australasia.
