X Factor contestant Josh Daniel made Simon Cowell very emotional after his moving audition.
Josh appeared on the show dedicating his chosen song, Jealous by Labrinth, to his best friend who had died two years ago.
He explained that he chose the song because he was jealous his friend was in a better place and happy without him.
Cowell’s mum Julie Brett died in July aged 89, just before taping of the audition stages began.
As the 21-year-old sang his heart out, Simon became visibly upset, stoically drinking water to fight off the tears.
