It was billed as being ‘practically porn’ but Lady Chatterley’s Lover left BBC viewers very underwhelmed on Sunday night.
While the story, costume and delivery was praised-a-plenty, the promise of smut, sex and scandal wasn’t delivered for many who took to Twitter to voice their disappointment.
Some even joked that they were off to find some ‘real ‘ porn, with Richard Madden’s naked torso and a few flashes of legs and arms not being enough to satisfy their Sunday desires.
