Well, as she mentioned on Saturday night’s auditions show the 30-year-old single mother was indeed a member of short-lived Noughties band Pop! – who notched up just three minor hit singles in the middle of the decade before falling off the radar.
The band – which also featured members Hannah Lewis, Glenn Ball and Jamie Tinkler (who also auditioned for X Factor as a part of the band Avenue in 2006) – were originally signed up by Pete Waterman in 2003.
