Less than one week before Coronation Street’s all-important live episode takes place, it seems there’s trouble behind the scenes with the soap’s stars apparently openly cheering when they were told that producer Stuart Blackburn was leaving the soap.
‘Everyone is openly celebrating that the boss has got his cards,’ one source told the Mirror.
‘Yet he’s still the person who is in charge of making sure the most important episode in years goes without a hitch.’
