All alone in the middle of a city of Daleks, can the Doctor outwit Davros – or is this really the end?

Last week’s opening episode ended with the triple cliffhanger of Missy and Clara being exterminated by the Daleks, the TARDIS being destroyed and the Doctor back on ancient Skaro threatening the boy Davros with a Dalek gun.
Don’t expect all three elements of this to be resolved immediately, though. Steven Moffat’s second part plunges straight back into the adventure without pausing to explain acts of escapology.
