Benedict Cumberbatch is dying to put on a cockney accent and appear in EastEnders, it has been revealed.
The Sherlock star has promised the soap’s executive producer that he’ll make a cameo – if he manages to find time out of his busy schedule to make the trip to Albert Square.
Dominic Treadwell Collins revealed at the Radio Times TV Festival: ‘I really want Benedict Cumberbatch to come and do a turn. And he says he’ll come and do it but he is slightly busy.
‘But he would be my dream.’
