It might not seem like it, but classic TV series Thunderbirds is officially 50 years old.
Yes, the adventures of the International Rescue crew – as brought to screens by TV producer extraordinaire Gerry Anderson – first graced TV screens on September 30 1965, securing their place in TV history as they did.
And to mark the occasion, this new 50th anniversary edition of the new Thunderbirds Technical Manual – updated from a previous publication by Haynes – has been released.
