Carol Jackson has waved goodbye to the square by zipping off on the back of a bike.
In the wake of Max’s sentence – 20 years with 12 months for escaping lawful custody – Carol was feeling a bit deflated.
Robbie invited her to move in with him and Sammy in Milton Keynes, and the Walford legend decided leaving was probably the best option. She quit her job and eyed up a leather jacket, but wasn’t 100% sold on upping sticks.
But, having moved to the square 22-years-ago, being compared to Pauline by Martin was the straw that broke the camel’s back, and his words certainly stung: ‘You both love a cardigan.’ Ouch.
