Coronation Street stars’ nerves are in shreds over fears new boss Kate Oates will sit each of them down to thrash out the fate of their on-screen alter-egos.
Oates will take the reigns on the cobbles in February, replacing executive producer Stuart Blackburn who has been at the helm of the ITV1 soap since 2013.
And after Ryan Thomas’ shock exit last week, there’s panic sweeping the streets that stars should jump ship before they’re pushed.
‘With a new boss coming in and the threat of certain cliques being suddenly under threat, it’s made people a bit panicky,’ a source told The Sun.
