Tasked with buying fish to turn into saleable products in an attempt to maximise profit, Versatile’s simple formula of fish finger sandwiches and calamari led to a landslide victory. Connexus’s tuna Niçoise and jumbo fish cakes generated a profit of just £1.87. The team fell hook, line and sinker to a succession of rookie errors ranging from hopelessly optimistic pricing to poor time management resulting in missing the lunchtime rush.
