Bonnie Langford has actually been on EastEnders before – in a way.
Bonnie made her EastEnders debut as Kush Kazemi’s mother Carmel, and fans were pretty happy about it.
In fact some were SO happy about it they dubbed her the ‘new Peggy Mitchell’. High praise indeed.
But that wasn’t the first time the actress has stepped onto Albert Square.
She has previously appeared in a 1993 crossover between EastEnders and Doctor Who, reprising her role as Doctor’s assistant Mel Bush. In the episode she and the Doctor went forward in time to 2013.
