The Apprentice candidate Selina Waterman-Smith has revealed she holds ‘the BBC ultimately responsible’ after being told she could be deported from her home in Dubai following social media users branding her a exotic dancer.
In the first episode of the new series of Lord Alan Sugar’s reality show, the businesswoman revealed she had been a ‘podium dancer’ in her early days before turning it into a business.
However viewers took to Twitter to describe Selina as an exotic dancer and her lawyers have now told her to expect a call from police in the Arab state.
‘It is a very, very strict Arabic Muslim country. You can’t afford a scandal,’ Selina told The Mirror.
