And now Amy Schumer is fighting the good fight for comedians, telling the audience of her HBO special, Amy Schumer: Live At The Apollo, how she is only labelled a ‘sex comic’ because of her gender.
‘I’m labelled a sex comic, like that’s in interviews and people are all like “So you talk about sex?” and I think it’s because I’m a girl,’ Amy says. ‘I feel like a guy could get up here and literally pull his dick out, and everyone would be like, “He’s a thinker.”‘
