Netflix is planning to reboot the series for their online streaming service for reportedly four 90-minute movies.
Variety are confirming the news, though Netflix and Warner Bros. – who produced the original series – are not commenting right now.
There’s been talk for a while about the possibility of a revival for the series created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband, exec producer Daniel Palladino.
It starred Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, as mother and daughter Lorelei and Rory Gilmore, and followed their lives and loves while living in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
