According to the legend that is Danny Dyer, EastEnders bosses have to put the antiseptic TCP in the Queen Vic pumps during filming to stop him knocking back booze on set.
Now that’s an extreme measure if ever we’ve heard one!
But in his new autobiography, The World According To Danny Dyer, the 38-year-old, who plays Mick Carter in the BBC One soap, admitted Beeb bosses have taken the step to stop him having cheeky half pints at the end of filming after a long day.
‘I sometimes have a half at the end of the day in The Queen Vic, though they started putting TCP in the pumps to stop me drinking it,’ Dyer revealed.
