Monica Michael has been named as the wildcard act for The X Factor 2015.
Judges Nick Grimshaw, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini announced the news on The Xtra Factor on Thursday.
Explaining their choice, Simon said: ‘Rita’s got three great girls but the show wouldn’t be the same without her.’
‘I walked away from [judges’ houses] and thought “I have to bring this girl back”
‘There was always gonna be a wildcard. Have you watched the show? It’s not a given but we always like to give that opportunity.
