Wow, we’re already at the live episodes for this year’s X Factor and the first show kicked off with the news that Monica Michael was back and competing as part of Rita’s Girls category.
The songs were all based on the theme of This Is Me, which was meant to give all a chance to get to know our new contestants a bit better.
And because Rita had the most contestants, the show began with Lauren Murray singing I’m Every Woman and it was a fun, confident performance which Simon said he loved. Lauren was thrilled she got to ‘do Whitney!’
Max Stone opened for the Overs singing a reggae version of Someone Like You.
