Turns out Downton Abbey’s location is a recommended dogging spot

Downton Abbey will close its doors for the final time next Sunday but its gorgeous setting is about to become popular for a whole other group of viewers.

Because according to one website for keen doggers, nearby Beacon Hill is a haven for those who wish to engage in, or watch, some very public sex.

The area is close to Highclere Castle, the estate house in Hampshire which is used for filming scenes of the long-running ITV drama.

The Daily Star revealed that one fan of the spot recommended ‘anyone into daylight dogging’ should visit Beacon Hill.
