I mean, let’s deal with the elephant in the room here. Doctor Who is supposed to be family entertainment, and for the most part it succeeds, but there are moments where innuendo abounds – sometimes on purpose, sometimes not – and the return of the unfortunately phallic Zygons (in an absolute corker of an episode) is a prime example.
My wife maintains that anyone with genitalia that really looks like this ought to see a doctor, and not the sort with a flying police box.
