Sean Bean has thrown his support behind Jeremy Corbyn for ‘sticking up for the working class man’.
The 56-year-old actor was at a press conference for his new TV show The Frankenstein Chronicles when he told reporters that he was an old Labour supporter.
He praised Corbyn as a leader who is ‘sticking up for the working class man and it’s time we heard that voice again’, according to the Radio Times.
In the new six-part ITV drama set in 19th century London, Bean plays Inspector John Marlott, who finds a body washed up from the Thames stitched together from human body parts, just like Frankenstein’s monster.
