Manchester fire brigade have reassured Twitter users that their actual incident response time is a lot quicker than what happened in Thursday night’s installment of Coronation Street.
Viewers saw a fire rip through Carla Connor’s flat, Leanne drag Carla out of the building to safety, Kal and Leanne then head back inside to save Amy and Amy and Leanne then climb down a ladder away from the flames as an explosion then killed Kal.
And then the fire brigade turned up.
But the Manchester crew were keen to ensure Twitter that in real life, they’d have been there a lot quicker. Just becase, you know, people can confuse reality with fiction sometimes.
