After much speculation over its future, the BBC have finally confirmed that the next series of The Voice UK will be their last – and that the show is heading elsewhere.
Mark Linsey, the acting director of BBC Television, announced the news in a statement on Saturday morning, admitting that the programme had been ‘poached by another broadcaster’ – but did not reveal which one it is.
