It’s fair to say Drew Barrymore isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
She’s made some alright films and nobody could deny she was adorable in E.T. too.
But some people clearly don’t have all that much time for her – and one of those is US chef Martha Stewart.
And while we’ve all been in awkward social scenarios, the above clip from Ellen DeGeneres’ chat show has to be one of the most painful celebrity TV meetings ever.

Stewart appeared on the show to promote her cook book as well as rustling up some grub and any input from Barrymore, promoting her own book, was rudely ignored.
After Stewart made popcorn in a pan, Barrymore tried to break the ice by declaring ‘That is beautiful’ but her compliment fell horribly flat.
Later, when the cook asked whether anyone had made quaesadillas, Barrymore raised her hand to try getting her attention – to no avail.
