The Good Wife star Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the latest addition to the cast of The Walking Dead after landing the role of the comic book’s villainous Negan.
The character – who leads a group of survivors known as The Saviors, and is known for his colourful language and baseball bat-wielding antics – will debut in the finale of season six before becoming a more regular fixture in season seven.
News of Morgan’s casting follows co-star Andrew Lincoln’s suggestion that Negan would be featured in the show at some point.
