We couldn’t have been more excited about the X Files’ imminent return – until we saw these stylish promotional images for the new series.
The shots show Mulder and Scully pointing their searches in their symbolic way as they search for more answers. Also featured is their former boss at the FBI, Skinner and their adversary the Cigarette Smoking Man.
The storyline will follow Mulder’s investigations into a whole new invasion plot connected to – and possibly mastermined by – a conservative newsman. Teaming up with Scully, they get their first major clue in the form of alien abductee Sveta.
