The actress who played Miranda Hart’s overbearing mother has been cast in the Downton Abbey Christmas special.
And it can only be bad news for Lady Edith.
According to ITV, the former Miranda star Patricia Hodge will play another ‘demanding’ mother – the mum of new Marquess of Hexham Bertie Pelham, who happens to be Edith’s ex-fiancé.
