BBC’s Children In Need telethon was slammed by viewers on Friday night for failing to mention events in Paris until several hours after news of the terror attacks broke.
While reports of the horrific events in the French capital emerged at around 9pm, it was just past midnight before it was mentioned on the show.
Co-host Nick Grimshaw made the reference, saying: ‘Our thoughts are with everyone tonight in Paris after the terrible events that have occurred there.
‘Our prayers are with you and we’re sending lots of love to you, Paris.’
