He previously caught our attention for his withering putdowns of FIFA president Sepp Blatter – and now John Oliver has wasted no time in deploying that same wit against the terrorists who killed more than 100 people in Paris on Friday.
The Last Week Tonight host opened his show with what he described as his ‘moment of premium cable profanity’.
‘As of now, we know this attack was carried out by gigantic f*****g assholes’, he said.
‘Unconscionable flaming assholes, possibly, possibly working with other f*****g assholes, definitely working in service of an ideology of pure assholery.’
We’re beginning to think he might have a point here.
