Possibly the best character in possibly the BBC’s best crime drama Luther might have been killed off-screen. Possibly.
But if lovable serial killer Alice Morgan really is dead, we want blood.
Alice has been John Luther’s unlikely sidekick and in our opinion the best evil badass on telly since the first series in 2010, and she’s the only female character to hold her own alongside the maverick detective.
Now fans of the show have been left outraged that the character – portrayed by Ruth Wilson – has not appeared in the fourth series which began last night.
