Ouch. The X Factor has failed to feature in the top 40 most-watched shows of this year.
And in the war between the BBC and ITV, the Beeb has absolutely blown its rival out of the water this year.
The Great British Bake Off dominated the ratings, taking the top spot on the list as well as taking third to eighth place.
The X Factor’s dismal shortcoming comes as another blow to Syco boss Cowell, whose seen the singing contest’s ratings dwindle with each series.
Cowell also suffered a burglary at his home earlier this month, with CCTV footage of the robber released today, so he’s not having the best Christmas of all time.
