Jeremy Vine found himself in a spot of bother earlier this week after his use of the phrase ‘man flu’ on his radio show left one listener seeing red.
The presenter and recent Strictly star made the remark during an interview on his Radio 2 show with Dr Sarah Jarvis, during an item about Victorian ailments.
He referred to having ‘man flu’ after telling the GP – while discussing whooping cough – that he had suffered a persistent cough at night after falling ill a few days earlier.
