EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo has admitted relief at leaving his Dean Wicks days behind him as the character finally makes his exit from the soap.
Dean’s fate will be revealed during the New Year’s Day episodes as the character finally gets his comeuppance for raping Linda Carter – with a tense showdown between Dean and Mick Carter promised.
But speaking to the Mirror, Matt revealed that saying goodbye to Dean had been a ‘cleansing’ experience – particularly when it came to getting rid of that beard.
