It seems that Sherlock fans weren’t the only ones excited about its return to screens on New Year’s Day – the cast appeared to be pretty psyched about it too.
Or at least they were if this tweet to the show’s official account – posted just after The Abominable Bride had aired on Friday night – is anything to go by.
It sees cast members – together with Mark Gatiss – posing for what looks like a fairly epic selfie as they pay tribute to the fans for tuning in.
Although what we really can’t get over is the look of sheer joy on Benedict Cumberbatch’s face.
