The BBC’s adaption of War And Peace premieres tonight, Sunday January 3rd, starring Lily James, James Norton and Paul Dano in the central roles.
It’s based on legendary Russian author Leo Tolstoy’s book of the same name and the Oxford World’s Classics version of the novel is a staggering 1,440 pages long.
This begs the question: have Lily, James and Paul actually read it?
According to the Daily Telegraph, they hadn’t read it before getting the parts in the TV show, but did make varying efforts once cast.
