We’re just a few days in to 2016 – but the biggest TV scandal of the year may have already occurred.
And it’s come from an unlikely source, namely ITV’s Midsomer Murders, who shocked viewers earlier this week with an episode that was – wait for it – murder-free.
Nope, we can’t quite believe our ears either. But sad to say, it’s true.
The episode in question, Habeas Corpus, kicked off the 18th series of the show when it aired on ITV on Wednesday night, as DCI Barnaby was drawn in to a case involving body-snatching in Little Malton.
