Chris Evans has spoken about the burden of taking over one of the most popular programmes on British TV following Jeremy Clarkson’s highly publicised departure left Top Gear’s future hanging in the balance.
The motoring show was rocked by Clarkson’s exit after he lashed out at a show producer and was sacked. His co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond left with him, with the trio since having signed a deal to set up a rival show with Amazon Prime.
