Bad news if you’re a Netflix hacker – because you’re about to be stopped in your tracks.
The video-streaming giant is cracking down on users sneakily viewing content that’s not available in their own countries by using proxies.
While Netflix is available in 130 countries now, not all countries can view the same content.
For example, Netflix users in Australia receive just 10% of the content users in the US can view.
Why? It’s purely down to licensing agreements.
But now all of those people having their cake and eating it by using a proxy aka virtual private network (VPN) are about to lose their loophole.
